Sonorium is an independent record label from Germany, producing music in the range of styles like darkwave / gothic / dark metal / dark romantic. Sonorium started its work 2002 in Frankfurt (Germany) as a label platform for underground music in these musical styles.
Sonorium has a sister label called Sonic-X (www.myspace.com/sonicxrecords, www.sonic-x.de). Sonic-X produces electronic underground music from ebm/electro to noise and industrial.
The man behind Sonorium and Sonic-X, Tommy, has been active for years in the gothic and electro/industrial scene as a DJ (club Nachtleben/Frankfurt, Black Obsession /Club Bizarre fetish nights, and many other parties), also as a musician (f.e. Spoox, Blasthead, Adversus, T.H.Industry, Arts Of Erebus) and producer (f.e. Adversus, The Cold, Advocatus Diaboli, Arts Of Erebus, AntiStasis, soundtracks for live-show Die Kleine Gruftschlampe).
During 2005 Sonorium moved from the big city of Frankfurt to a little town called Zweibruecken in the west of Germany (very close to the french border) into a big old house, in which an old dream could be made true in 2006: our own recording studio! The studio now offers a professional music production and mastering, especially for bands of the dark scene (visit www.ts-musix.de).

OF DAWN combine elements
from the classic gothic-rock with electronic sounds, thus creating a
intensive dark sonic experience. Melodic male and female lead vocals
alternate to pumping and grooving fat metal guitars, while bass and
drum-programming deliver a driving rhythmic base.
Songs like "Revolution", "Resistant X" or "Heroin(e)" are great stuff
for dark scene dancefloors and also for the metal DJ. GATES OF DAWN
also know how to captivate the listener with slow and
calm tracks like "Chronos Requiem" or "Shadowplay". The
album "Parasite" paints a picture of an undergoing
civilization
with the
fascinating colours of despairation.
"Parasite" is the second album of the 5 musicians behind GATES OF DAWN.
After a first self-produced release in 2008, the CD now is re-released
as an official label release by Sonorium (Danse Macabre Labelgroup) and
distributed by TS-Musix.

The
9 track EP "Dawn Of The Dead" is the recent release by the
german-french gothic rock band ARTS
OF EREBUS.
ARTS OF EREBUS have heard the club DJ‘s calling and now
released a shorter single mix of "Dawn Of The Dead", the secret clubhit
song from their full album "Icon In Eyes".
"Dawn Of The Dead" combines the classical gothic rock guitars with
modern electronic elements, without losing the feeling of the
melancholic gothic-rock of the early 90s. Besides the single mix and
the album-version the EP offers two other versions of the title song
"Dawn Of The Dead": the "Aftermath" version comes as an atmospheric
down-tempo electronica track, and the "Dead Bodies Dancing Mix" is a
powerful vocoder-electro dancetrack for the floors of the electro scene
- a totally new style from ARTS OF EREBUS, who are basically known as a
goth rock act. On its more than 48 minutes of playing time, this EP
also contains new versions of already known ARTS OF EREBUS tunes like
"Heroes In The Dark" (the hit song from their 2003 debut album),
"Brotherhood Of Sleep" and "Watching Demons", as well as an orchestral
arrangement of "Zeit und Traum". "Pitch Black" is a previously
unreleased instrumental track.
"Dawn Of The Dead" was inspiration for the german comic and video
artist Tikwa ("Die Kleine Gruftschlampe", "Space Rat", "Night Angels"
and other comics) to produce a video with ARTS OF EREBUS. The
"Dawn Of The Dead" music video can be found on a special data track on
the CD.
CURIOUS - "Arrhythmia"

music for the
wave-gothic-dancefloor but also for a comfortable evening near the
fireplace with a glass of red wine. CURIOUS' second
longplayer has been released on 14th November 2008 on the Sonorium
label.
The band from Bielefeld/Germany has clearly developed their style and
unfolded their very own profile, combining the obvious 80's wave influences with innovative
and individual
elements. CURIOUS have definitely cultivated and
established their own sound with this album.
Songs like "Days", "To Run With The Hare And Hunt With The Hounds" or
"J. Mary (Sweetheart)" should easily move the goth and wave dancefloors
as well as the already released song "Thrill B" which is included as a
bonustrack on the new album. "Resurrection", "Dazzled" or "The Way To
Nowhere" are more quiet, emotional songs with a dreamlike ambience.

music by HEAVY-CURRENT! After the
big success of their third studio album "Edacious" (2006 Sonorium), the
Bielefeld (Germany) based electro-rock band now releases the "Ratrace
EP".
This release offers the new song "Ratrace", which is a driving
industrial-punk track, and provides a first taste of the upcoming album
"Push The Fire". There are also 8 interesting versions of songs from
the last album, remixed by NOVASTORM, KAOS-FREQUENZ, VANI and other
artists.
"Ratrace" is released as a digital release, available in the most
common music donwload shops. There will be a limited amount of
CD-copies that can be bought on HEAVY-CURRENT's upcoming

The band developed their sound into a more rock orientated and more

keep the feeling of the melancholic gothic-rock of the early 90s.

Gothic-Crossover act ADVERSUS released a mini-album
after their 2 successful longplay albums. Unlike the mostly driving,
beat-dominated and complexe-opulent combination of metal, classical and
electronic elements on the former ADVERSUS albums,
"Laya" presents the band‘s calm and slow side with acoustic
instruments and folk or classical melodies. The title song "Laya oder
die Ballade vom schwarzen Stein" (Laya or the ballad of the black
stone) is a celtic myths inspired gothic-folk-song showing the typical ADVERSUS-style
of interacting male and female vocals in its more than 14 minutes of
playing time. Also contains the longer album version of "Der Wind auf
den Feldern", which was a free promotional track in a shortened mix.
"Laya" offers 5 audio-tracks and a data section with a live-videoclip.

and gothic music scene. "Behind a Face" is the first collection of
songs by the young german band CHARLETT SCHWARZ,
formed around singer and composer Veyna Muhr. Dark and melancholic
atmospheres change to a powerful chorus in the wink of an eye. There is
not one single stopgap, each song has it's own unique raison
d'être. Variability and the experimental mingling of
different styles are what keeps the band‘s creativity on the
go. It's mainly Veyna's very own style of voice, which defines the
character of the band and its means of recognition.

Alternative
Rock and Dark Electro are perfectly combined in this album. The german
electro-rock band HEAVY-CURRENT has released their
third studio album "Edacious" in late 2006, which is showing the band
from a new and more rock side, whereas furthermore also the electronic
and danceable factor is coming to the fore. Elements of rock music are
meeting wide synthetic parts and melodies. The results of this special
symbiosis are impelling hymns and club capable sounds: Electro meets
Rock! Songs like "Question of Faith", "DBN" or "House of Shame" are
showing, by the use of guitar and drums, how HEAVY-CURRENT
can combine Guitar Rock and Electro to an equal concept for clubs and
stages. The coactions of aggressive guitars, fat drums and warm Synth
parts are building their typical sound.
