WANDERREIGEN - "Rum & Ratten" (2012)

Wanderreigen perform a combination of Folk and Metal styles on their debut album 'Rum & Ratten' (German language, translates to 'Rum & Rats')
Wanderreigen started back in 2007 in the south-west region of Germany and played a huge number of live shows (a lot of them on festivals), thus gaining a good reputation as a powerful live band. The 6 musicians combine hard Metal music with elementes taken from Folk and medeaval music, creating a dynamic sound with a touch of rawness and an audible degree of pleasure while playing their music.

The album 'Rum & Ratten' has been produced by the band in 2011 as a self-released work, and is now taken into the catalogue of the German label Sonorium as an official release in 2012 and distributed by TS-Musix (CD and digital).

THE BEAUTIFUL DEAD - 'Moonlight And Hollywood' (2011)

'Moonlight And Hollywood' (2011) is the impressing debut album of The Beautiful Dead, a New Wave band founded in 2010 in Germany. Their songs sound full of melancholy, desires, and show tragical emotions, but with a spark of hope.

The sound of The Beautiful Dead is inspired by the New Wave sound of the early 80s in it's various facettes. Guitar-driven songs and electronic arrangements are used equally, and there are influences by other styles like f.e. Progressive Rock, which lends this band's songs a partially progressive touch.

The 9 songs of 'Moonlight And Hollywood' reflect the impressing musical bandwidth of The Beautiful Dead, listening to the album is a pleasure for friends of the classic Wave music.

There are uptempo songs and melancholic tunes, and also dance floor tracks like 'Reaching Out', and the album finally closes with the epic and monumental 'Beside The Wall'.

GATES OF DAWN - 'Lucid Dreaming' (2011)

In 2011 GATES OF DAWN once more shows up with a brand new long player “Lucid Dreaming”. Founded in 2005, the band from Germany perfoms a mixture of guitar wave and and electronic soundscapes by creating seductive songs full of sweeping beats, romantic melodies and uncanny atmospheres.

Following the successful 2008 record “Parasite”, the band's third CD output marks another step in achieving an unique sound experience.

Over 70 minutes and 15 tracks this album acts like a dream of disturbing and fascinating images, a journey through a world full of terror, fear and ecstasy.

ADVERSUS - 'Der Zeit abhanden' (2010)

The German black romantic metal band ADVERSUS is back with a new concept album.

The new opus 'Der Zeit abhanden' ('Lost in time') with the sub-title 'Elf Märchen für Entflohene' ('Eleven stories for escapees') is released as a bundle of CD and book in early December 2010 and is a new piece of conceptual art by ADVERSUS. Sophisticated bombastic orchestral composition alternate with dark and brutal metal attacks, being disrupted by folky-medieval strings and pipes and complexe synth-sequences. Throning over this arrangements there comes the opera voice of female singer Aysel, contrasted by Rosendorns weird hard shoutings.

CD and book (in German language) together make a dark-romantic work of art, that has rarely been seen before. Eleven short-stories matching the lyrics of the eleven main songs on the CD, written by Rosendorn himself, form a thrilling and fascinating circle of tales on more than 160 pages.

LAMBDA - 'Weites Land'

With his project LAMBDA the German virtuosic double-bass player Carsten Hundt presents his first solo album.

As LAMBDA, Carsten creates a range of sounds out of his acoustic double-bass (contrabass), that are quite unusual for this instrument. Selected electronic effects produce wonderful. strange, mystic and sometimes bizarre soundscapes.

Carsten Hundt is a versatile musician, professionally focusing on Baroque and Renaissance music. He has played in various classic orchestras, but also performs modern styles (f.e. as the 'Bassmeister' in the Gothic-Metal-band Adversus). Since 2003 Carsten developed his own musical ideas in his solo project LAMBDA.

ARTS OF EREBUS - 'Dawn Of The Dead'

The 9 track EP "Dawn Of The Dead" is the recent release by the german-french gothic rock band ARTS OF EREBUS.

On "Dawn Of The Dead" the band combines the classical gothic rock guitars with modern electronic elements, without losing the feeling of the melancholic gothic-rock of the early 90s. Besides the single mix and the album-version the EP offers two other versions of the title song "Dawn Of The Dead": the "Aftermath" version comes as an atmospheric down-tempo electronica track, and the "Dead Bodies Dancing Mix" is a powerful vocoder-electro dancetrack for the floors of the electro scene. On its more than 48 minutes of playing time, this EP also contains new versions of already known ARTS OF EREBUS tunes like "Heroes In The Dark" (the hit song from their 2003 debut album), "Brotherhood Of Sleep" and "Watching Demons", as well as an orchestral arrangement of "Zeit und Traum". "Pitch Black" is a previously unreleased instrumental track.
