Sonorous Circle is a 'record label'. More correctly though, it is an umbrella under which a like-minded collection of projects & recordings will seek cover. Our mission is to collate a catalogue of excellent music regardless of style, and make it available for the world-at-large to feast upon. We will also put on nifty shows for friends.
Email sonorouscircle AT gmail DOT com or join the mailing list at www.sonorouscircle.com for news and updates.
Concurrently, the first of a series of sound/image collaborations (as in visual elements of release created whilst under the influence of sonic elements being performed and recorded) has been documented and shall be available for ingestion very shortly. For the time being, you can hear a snippet of "an Eye for an Ear i" on the player above.
We also have a couple more recordings of interest to be released for your consumption in the not so distant future...

Originally from Wellington, NZ, This City Sunrise are now smashing out their tunes in Melbourne, Australia. The lads cook up a fine three course meal throwing in massively solid rhythms, generous fistfuls of elaborate melody and a colorful side of satisfying harmony, all garnished with excellent composition and full use of the dynamic spectrum. Definitely worth a listen, or two, or three.
