You took our place on the cross Jesus! We should have been punished for our sins... we should have been killed.... but Jesus you took our place! Let us ever be mindful that life is not fair! We received mercy when we should have obtained condemnation. You are life and the giver of life. May those who watch this video receive you because of who you are and what you have done....may they receive you as Lord and Savior for YOU Jesus, You alone are worthy of all praise and glory! My indescribable and loving Savior, Jesus, is my one and only true hero! He took the punishment for every wrong, every sin I committed or will commit. I deserved death on the cross, but he lovingly took my place so that I could have an intimate relationship with Him and God the Father! He didn't stop there! He also sent to me a comforter, an empowerer, the Holy Spirit who guides and directs my path! Others that have had an impact on my life are my awesome son Matthew, my parents (of course!), my Grandma Grasmick, Uncle Vern and Aunt Emmy, the rest of my family and my wonderful friends that God has placed in my life at just the right moment! The Bible gives us many others to learn from such as Paul, Peter, John, Isaiah, David, Ruth, Abraham, Noah, Adam and many other wonderful saints!

I'm not really 87 though I wish I had the wisdom of someone of that age! People wanna know why I don't put my age on here, it's because this page is not about me! I'll share some things about myself with you if you really wanna know, but this site was as created because I am madly in love with Jesus and I want to share this AWESOME Savior with everyone! He is my life, my breath, my joy, my song...I can't make it through one second of the day without Him, nor would I want to! If you don't know Jesus, He's eagerly waiting to reveal Himself to you. You see, He loved you so much that He willing gave His life so that you could obtain not only eternal life but an intimate relationship with Jesus the risen Lord & King! Who I'd like to meet: I want to meet Jesus face-to-face and behold His glory more than anything, but I do already know Him and meet with Him daily! Billy Graham, Jim Cymbala, John & Lisa Bevere, David Wilkerson, Chuck Pierce, Kim Clements, Mel Gibson, and all of my MySpace friends. As for those already with Jesus... Corrie Ten Boom, what an awesome saint! Bet she has lots of stories to tell that she didn't write down! Abraham and Sarah to talk about what it felt like to be looking for the promised land and not knowing where it was, and what it was like to hold Isaac in their arms...seeing another of God's promises fulfilled... David,to find out what it was it like to face a human giant (we face other types of giants all of the time!) and I'd like to write some praise songs with him... Isaiah,to thank him for letting God prophesy through him and to let him know how much his words helped me when I need encouragement and challenges most.... Jeremiah to learn more about the fire in his bones...Peter, because I think I have a lot in common with him, Paul, to learn about some of the things he said and did that aren't written down... There is a lot more I could write and a lot of other people I'd like to meet but this will do for now.....

God has wonderful plans for each of us and most of the time they are bigger than anything we could even imagine! I find myself in that place right now. Dave spoke to me last year about making videos. Well, it scared me to death! I HATE being in front of cameras and I really didn't want any part of it...but....while I was at the Desperation Conference in Colorado Springs in July 07, God laid on my heart that He wanted me to do this. Well...I didn't rush right into it and Dave didn't mention it for awhile so I thought maybe, just maybe God had let me off the hook on this one. NOT! Lion and Lamb Ministry was blessed with an online tv station...then radio was added...and next thing I knew was Dave was creating a spot for me to minister, creating banners for me, sending me his old web cam, creating a video to go with the audio I created...God didn't have me swallowed by a fish, He just brought everything I needed right to my feet and said I've equipped you for everything I have called you to do, now do it! I covet each of your prayers as I enter into this new endeavor. I want more than anything for GOD to be glorified. This ministry is NOT about Terri! And I don't think it was talking about butterflies.
But the risk--oh, the risk of leaving the swaddling warmth of a cocoon. My cocoon. My status quo. My. . . deadening security. To leave the known, no matter how confining it may be--for an unknown, a totally new lifestyle-- oh, the risk!
Lord, my cocoon chafes, sometimes. But I know its restrictions. And it's scarey to consider the awful implications of flight. I'm leery of heights. (Even your heights.) But, Lord, I could see so much wider, clearer from heights. And there's an exhilaration about flight that I have always longed for. I want to fly. . . if I could just have the cocoon to come back to. Butterflies can't. Probably butterflies don't even want to-- once they've tasted flight.
It's the risk that makes me hesitate. The knowing I can't come back to the warm, undemanding status quo.
Lord. . . about butterflies. . . the cocoon has only two choices-- risk or die What about me? If I refuse to risk, do I, too, die inside, still wrapped in the swaddling web?
Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
A very comforting verse in almost any situation. God makes it clear that he will be EXALTED. But do we stop to think about this from the other angle? Who will be exalted? GOD will be exalted. Often times we fail because we are working so hard to show our faithfulness when what we really need is to BE STILL and let God move His mighty hand His way. Let God be Exalted. Peace and blessings.
