-Sons of Abraham are an Alternative/Prog Rock 3 piece from Melbourne-
In 2006, Sons Of Abraham gave name to the birth of our journey as a band. We had prepared a set of original material over the year preceding and had now been faced with the new daunting challenge of playing live. The Melbourne live scene was the perfect place to gig regularly in a wide variety of different clubs amongst an ever changing live scene. By late 2007, the well tested material was ready for the next step – recording. We set some goals and agreed on suitable songs and the means to record our debut EP – ‘The Pushing Foreword’. We wanted the EP to reflect mainly on our live dynamic and to highlight our strengths rather than cover our weaknesses. Launched in August 2008, the 6 track EP marked the end of one chapter for SOA but more importantly, the beginning of another. With the release of The Pushing Foreword, we hope to share this with you.

If you are a fan it would be great to see you at our next gig - see www.jimmyyukka.com. In future the best way to find out about what we are up to is to join our mailing list.
