Well done! You clicked on to this myspace page so obviously you have great taste in music. Sons of Beaches are a 5 piece original rock outfit from Worcestershire. The band formed in late 2007 and have so far recorded 2 EP's, the debut 'Never be the Same Again' and the follow up 'Plague'. The band have toured the Plague EP extensively throughout the UK for most of 2009 and have taken to some great stages in great venues in cities such as London, Leicester, Birmingham, Liverpool & many more. In April 09 Sons of Beaches played to a sell out crowd at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, and May 09 saw them headline the new acts stage at the Glastonbudget Festival in front of thousands! The band have recently agreed their first recording contract with Limbo Sounds and work has already begun on the bands much anticipated debut album which, will see the band working with top producer Phil Preece. Release is scheduled for spring 2010 and the band are now booking the 2010 album tour.
So expect to hear much more from Sons of Beaches in the coming months and if you really cant wait for the album release, have a listen to some of the EP tracks on this page, or even better see the band in their natural habitat, the live concert stage!
we just wanted to thank you for adding us as friends, we are a new band from Birmingham and are working on material as we speak. The songs we are due to record over the next few months are bangin!! (There no ego in there at all, my words are chosen carefully and on the basis of 'would I buy this music myself....?') So we hope you like 'Like I Care!?' and 'Spitting Teeth' so far!! Keep your eyes peeled for updates on our Blog and the occasional bulletin, and feel free to drop by and leave us comments!!
Bit late to join us before we wind down, but welcome all the same.
New things happening in the New Year - so keep your eyes peeled for the rise of a new live stage sound team as Fat Rat goes into retirement.
Did you get the comments from The Abbot re: Divided we Fall? They are an excellent band. Worthy of supporting great bands like yourselves. Think on....
