Sons of Pioneers are a 4-piece alternative rock band from South Wales.
Musical collaborations started in 2007 and were fueled by the foundations of a mutual love of Muse, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, People in Planes, Lost Prophets and Jeff Buckley. The band was officially formed in May of 2008 when three musically like minded friends - Jonni Leyshon (Vocals, Guitar), Paul Eagle (Bass, Vocals) and Keri-John Cardy (Drums) formed Sons of Pioneers. Scott Anthony Morgan joined the band completeing the line up in May 2009 providing the finishing touches to their already established sound.
Sons of Pioneers are looking to build a following in the Port Talbot area before heading into surrounding cities and eventually touring the UK.

I know. I really like that they are unknown as well. I mean, the headline gig we're reviewing is at the Roadhouse... my brother plays the Roadhouse on a regular basis... it's kinda crazy!
Sounds like you've got a busy week on your hands then! If you want a review anytime just drop us a line and we'll see if we can get someone down....
Yup, do indeed like a bit of PiP. Wasn't at that show, we're reviewing FFAF on Friday though so we'll catch them there and then again the week after at their own show in Manchester. All good!
Thanks very much for becoming a friend of the band, and the nice words. We now have 3 songs on a player. Our new single 'Ruin' is out on 6th April followed a week later by our mini-album 'Days and Nights of Love and War'.
Hey guys :) Thanks for the add - Its still all to be confirmed, and to be honest I dont have many details! I think it's through someone Krissie knows - its more of a one off gig in the summer. So unfortunately not some secret great new pub/club thats opened! Hows things with you? Cheers, CJ - Triaxis
