Her influences are in early 70's folk like Crosby Stills and Nash, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, and Judy Collins, and the late Laura Nyro. Later influences are in the sounds of Annie Lennox and Susan Vega. Inspirations in Jazz include Sarah Vaughan, Alice Coltrane, and Pharoah Sanders. Inspired by three extremely talented peers...Vicki Genfan, Kym Tuvim and Erika Luckett.

My French reviewers at Crossroads Magazine throw in a bit of Ricki Lee Jones, Carol King with a Latin feel, and Sade.

Her music speaks for itself and simply emanates from life on the streets of NYC. and an old hip soul. With loyal roots to comtemporary folk music, she' infused those early influences with a love for Jazz, blues, and stylistic explorations into her three octaves of vocal bliss.
