Sony was born in the icy north of Minnesota where Dad was a Minister and Mom directed the choir. Singing has always been a part of her life. Now at home in Los Angeles she performs in every possible setting including concert halls, jazz festivals, nightclubs, galas and for social events. The well-traveled singer has also performed extended runs in Asia’s top 5-Star hotels such as the InterContinental in Kowloon, the Park Hyatt in Tokyo and the new Lebua Hotel in Bangkok.
She has built a strong following through steady performances and radio play of her three CDs. Drawing comparisons to icons like Peggy Lee and Nancy Wilson, Ms. Holland is a world-class entertainer with a style uniquely her own.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Authors Prepare to Walk the State of California to Bring Aid and Awareness to Victims of Abuse and Homelessness Peace foundation founder, Timothy Pina and author of the motivational book “Just Make It Happen!”, Danielle Pierre, will walk from Candlestick Park, San Francisco to Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, California beginning September 26, 2009. The anticipated arrival date in San Diego is November 1, 2009. This walk event is to raise funds and bring awareness to victims of abuse and homelessness. On a national average, agencies report over 8000 requests for domestic violence services per day. This statistic is based only on reporting agencies (approx 78% of active DV agencies nationwide). Requests for emergency shelter or transitional housing account for over 50% of the requested services. Lack of funding often causes many of the requested services to be delayed or rejected. Having once been a victim of domestic violence, Danielle is sensitive to the urgent necessity of the emergency shelter and housing needs being met. “This could mean the difference between life and death for some.” says Danielle. “If everyone who hears about this walk donates at least $1.00 to these causes, we could raise millions of dollars in funding. Imagine – a one dollar donation could collectively save lives. That’s huge.” Danielle’s past experiences with both domestic violence and homelessness are two of the main motivating factors behind her book ‘Just Make It Happen!” which primarily focuses on transforming one’s life as well as creating inner peace and well being through positive thought and action. The first step is to provide people with a healthy, safe and secure environment. We must start with the basics and move forward. According to the National Coalition for the Homeless, approximately 3.5 million people will experience homelessness in a year; 39% of them children. This year it is expected that number will rise. Out of 23 cities surve
