Sophia Santi was born in Winnipeg but grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. At age 18, she moved to her mother's home state of Arizona, and at age 20, she moved to Los Angeles, California. She has said her father is Romanian with his ancestors being Gypsies, and her mother is Black Irish, German and Cherokee. She was very much a tomboy when she was young, saying "I have sprained each of my ankles eight to twelve times each and have torn five ligaments", resulting her having difficulty in wearing heels. During high school, she worked as a gourmet pizza chef and afterwards, she attended a trade school to be an esthetician.
Santi began modeling at the age of 14. She started working as an adult model under the name Natalia Cruz, becoming the Penthouse Pet of the month for November 2002 and Penthouse Pet of the Year runner-up for 2005.
Later in 2005, she signed an exclusive contract with the porn studio Digital Playground At that time, she also changed her stage name to Sophia Santi and trademarked it, stating that she did not own the website NataliaCruz.com and she "didn't want the person that owned that site to capitalize on all the marketing that (Digital Playground is) doing for me". To date, her most notable adult film appearance has been in Island Fever 4. She is now a free agent.
At the age of 18, Santi began a very large tattoo of a Japanese dragon, which covers most of her back and her left side. The text on the tattoo reads そうぞうする in katakana; one possible meaning is 想像する ("to imagine"). She has stated that since she knows tattooing is addictive, rather than getting many small tattoos, she preferred to have one very large tattoo, on which she will continue to have work done from time to time. She also has a smaller tattoo of a butterfly on the right side of her belly.
Santi is interested in both natural medicine and spirituality. She is a devotee of Ayurvedic and Tantric philosophies.

I'm happy to announce that The ATTIC is going trough some major changes to address the big wave of performers and listeners alike. We kicked the limit of 1000 friends of which cca 500 are performers of some kind. The Attic also has 20-50 visitors a day, from around the world, and is being visited constantly by the people who look for new songs, performers and ideas here on Balkan. We have a strong backup from everybody, performers and fans alike, to keep the Attic kickin' and what would I be if I don't listen to them.
New banner, performers and listeners are just the beginning of change here on Hip Hop Attic. Soon enough I will browse trough every performer here and put the best songs and videos on the Attic for all to hear and see. After that I'll put the time and effort to put together foreign list for all that are not Balkan based performers. There will be some surprise stuff for Christmas and New year but for that you'll have to wait till then.
I'll do my best to have you all drop on you butts when you see what I have in store for you. If you have any questions, ask me in form of a message, cause I don't want to have all in my comment section on the Attic. Read the blog if you want to know what we do and why, and please, don't put humongous adds in Attic's comments cause they will be deleted!
