General
The Mission of Peace of the World International is
to create and sustain programs and projects which inspire peaceful relationships leading to the establishment of facilities within communities that are child-oriented and youth-oriented and focused on life, health, peace, family and education while developing an enhanced understanding of culture and racial diversity.
We now have branches in Minnesota and Florida in the U.S. and satellites in the following countries: Ghana, Pakistan, Togo, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, The Netherlands; and soon to be in Cameroon.
Any company or organization that is willing to donate resources such as tents for lodging, borehole well digging equipment or construction equipment, health and first aid supplies, food for volunteer meals, or make any other contributions, should contact Dr. Asaviour through our homepage. My specific interest when first creating MySpace is securing speaking engagements (workshops, seminars, keynote, retreats, conferences) anywhere in the world to promote Peace of the World International's projects and programs. My general interests are Africa, children and mothers, peace in the world, broadcasting, radio, reading, travel, cooking, philosophy, theology, numerology, the elderly, building and road construction, business & land development, prosperity, family, writing and reading poetry, photography, non-traditional healing techniques and herbs, dance, spirituality, history, research, cricket, and soccer.

I don't watch very much TV but when I do watch, it is usually something that has been suggested to me by someone else. Like recently someone suggested I watch the HBO series "Rome." So far, it's proved to be interesting. The director and producer stated that they filmed in Rome in order to keep as true to the historical accuracy as possible. Other than that, I watch National Geographic and Public Broadcasting TV.

It may seem strange for me to say that I visit my own Space and find peace and comfort here. I want to thank all of you for blessing me and giving me the inspiration which sometimes seems distant. We all get tired sometime. But, with an open mind and heart, I reach out to embrace you all and see for each of you joy, peace, happiness, adequate shelter, wholesome and nurishing food, lasting friendships, unbinding love, coverings that suit your taste, resounding laughter, and family that honors and protects you.

I am the founder of an NGO that is working to build a multiplex to keep children healthy and safe. In doing this we are also involved with projects that benefit women and mothers. We are now working on building vocational training centers in four countries and clinics as well. Resources and human-power are always assets for which we are looking. We have just become involved in seeking assistance with digging wells in the countries where the clinics are to be built. The Clear Water & VTC/Clinic Projects are now associated with both Kush University and the African Womens Economic Consortium.

I am a prosperity-oriented person who loves working for peace. I have an insatiable appetite for books and reading. My background work has been in governmental affairs. Experienced in radio and television broadcasting in the not so distant past has me seeking new adventures via the internet. Philosophy is one of my loves as well and I look for the good in all people and situations.

At Peace of the World International, we are a not-for-profit organization and run entirely on the kindness and generosity of donors like you all over the world. At present, in addition to the projects listed above by Dr. Asaviour, we have the on-going projects with which we are requesting your assistance:
To support offices in Kenya, Ghana & Pakistan (approx. $7,200 per year to be sent to the individual offices)
HIV-AIDS testing kits to Kenya, Ghana, & Pakistan (approx. $300 for 60+ kits for each country office or equivilent number of kits sent directly to each country)
First Aid kits for children in Kibera's Samaritan Ark (approx. $300 or kits totaling the amount shipped directly to Kenya)
Sanitary Towels for girls in Kenya slums -- project in cooperation with CPDA Kenya (approx. $700 or equal amount in towels sent directly to Kenya)
Sponsor for establishment of incubator to host recycling plant in Kibera – Kenya
(approx. $5,000)
Stipend for students attending vocational training classes (approx. $2,520 for 30 students in each country; funds will be sent directly to each country for distribution)
Furniture and Equipment for Kenya, Ghana, & Pakistan offices (approx. $3,000 each to be sent to the individual offices)
3 vehicles - van/truck [one for each Peace of the World Intl locations – Kenya, Ghana, & Pakistan (approx. $9,000 each)
Funds for over-limit shipping of supplies and goods to to Kenya, Ghana, & Pakistan (approx. $240 for each country)
12 computers with peripherals (approx. $2,000 [x 3 for each of the three locations –Kenya, Ghana & Pakistan] or the equivalent product sent directly to the country in need of product)
Payment for telephone installation and 6-months service in Kenya, Ghana, & Pakistan (approx. $480 for 6 months for each country)
Salaries for staff for the next one year (approx. $21,940 for each location)
