I love and am loved by my husband:
Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being in love which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident.

Garden State (longer scene than what is in the movie)
About me: I'm the girl who spends half her time alone and half her time surrounded by people but enjoys the time with her husband most. The girl who writes, paints, sews, draws and loves but doesn't call herself anything. You know, the one who accidently stands out in a crowd but you can't remember her name; it starts with an 'S'. She's up for most things and isn't one to start a conflict but that doesn't mean she isn't opinionated or sure of what she wants in life. People tend to take advantage of her and even though she's aware of it, she tends not to do much about it. She likes to think that she isn't typical but she does love fashion, shopping, animals and volleyball. Yeah, I'm the girl who loves a lot and hates rarely, loves meeting new people and cherishes all she has. I'm the girl who forgets she's a woman, even though she's married and moved out.
Who I'd like to meet: People who know how to show their soul. People who make me laugh so hard that I cry and say, "Omg, I'm crying I'm laughing so hard!"
People who are creative and modest. People with a connection to the USMC (or other branches).
People who live in WA State.

I just saw you had posted a blog today and clicked the link to read it. One of the things I like about you and respect is that you are honest. Even if it's something someone might not like, you don't back down, but you tell your take on things with respect to the other person.
I know I'm rarely on Xanga anymore, but I still count all of you on there as my friends. It's actually been a while since I commented you or anyone really, but I try my best to at least somewhat keep up with the people I'm subbed to.

That sounds pretty badass. My friend Nick gave me a new nickname the other day. I thought it was funny, because very few people know that you call me Jack, but he called me, and he said, "Okay, nice advice, Pumpkin King." And then he stopped and went "Actually, I think that works for you, oddly enough." I hope that doesn't make me sound too goth.
