Sounds Like
If I could sound like anyone let it be Sarah McLachlan. She has the voice of an angel.
A singer songwriter - born and bred Londoner. Absolutely passionate about music.......
I've wanted to be a singer for as long as I can remember and though classically trained I decided at the age of 14 that I wanted a career in pop music. It's been difficult to avoid to be honest, my father a successful recording artist and my sister working for a major label. So I started writing my own songs and working with a number of musicians and producers, I slowly developed my style. For the past year I've been writing and recording these songs and playing them at a number of gigs and festivals in the UK.
In addition to this I've recorded a duet with my father called Make It Easy. This is the English version but a French version's about to be released in France on EMI as the first single off Dad's new album, Tete a Tete (due to be released beg. March). Over the summer we performed the duet live on a number of French radio stations, including NRG and RTL. This was great fun and really interesting to hear and meet some rising new French artists.
So what does the future hold? I want to try and get as many people to listen to and download my songs. If you like the songs make sure you tell people about them and my myspace! Over the next few months I'll be playing a few acoustic gigs around London - so watch this space re when and where!
Hello!
Thanks for the comment!
I like indeed putting new songs of "new" artists for one week, to make people discover them...
But I put also titles from more famous singers.
Bye!
Annelise.
