All of her life Sophie Hill has been surrounded by music and has developed an immense passion and desire for her art. Receiving her first guitar at the tender age of 5 she drew her early influences from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Jimi Hendrix and Joni Mitchell. With a reflective and incisive mind Sophie has predominantly taught herself and from the age of 14 began capturing her thoughts on life through poetry and song. The result is a quietly electric, intriguing and captivating range of music and lyrics that reflect her life experiences, inspirations and emotions that belie her tender years. Having embarked on a performing career across her native Berkshire and beyond, Sophie has developed an extensive catalogue of material and can enthral even the most reluctant of audiences which has lead to an ever increasing International fan base. With an effervescent style, oozing passion and enthusiasm Sophie’s performance guarantees entertainment for dozens or thousands whatever their Musical taste.
With a self produced E.P. recorded in June 2007 proving so popular she struggles to satisfy demand a return to the studio is imminent to conjure yet more aural magical delights in the form of a full album.

By now we have more than 1500 bands signed up. More bands sign up = more gigs avalable for all!
Something really simple: if every band (1500) talks about splitgigs. com with just 1 other band and the band signs up we’ll have 3000 bands, it means you have more possibilites to find gigs to play!
