Sophie & Mr Mills - Soulelektric
Sophie Rimheden: moved from Hässleholm to Stockholm 1999 and has been producing electronic music for many years. She has released four albums under her own name and worked with Adam Tensta, Marit Bergman, Aaron Phiri among others.
Anthony Mills: moved from Akron Ohio to Stockholm 2006 and has been singing and writing songs for many years in different genres (opera among others) and collaborations. Is one of the two members in Super Viral Brothers, and more.
Through the hiphop blog www.mybestfriendismygrind.com they met by Sophie doing a remix of one of Anthony's songs "Silent Communication" (listen to the remix here!), and decided to start a band after that making songs together. Sophie makes a simple beat, and then Anthony puts words and melody, and then Sophie produces the music that she feels fit to the vocals.
They have made their own style, genre - soulelektric!
