2009 NOUVELLE FORMATION - NOUVEAU REPERTOIRE - SO' QUINTET -
Sophie Villamayor started up All So’ band in 2005, running in the Rhône-Alpes area in France.
From Duke Ellington to the Beatles going through the Rythm & Blues, All So’ revise the top standards, introducing brand new arrangements novateurs out of the limits. To the top end of jazz, cabaret and soul, the song mix the groove and the ballade, intimity and generous enlargements aiming to share intense musical emotions with her public.
Under Ella Fiztgerald and Liza Minelli influence Sophie Villamayor, the singer, has built an special atmosphere and she imposes her presence on the stage in a non common style.
Her voice is bluesy and soft, sensual and engaged, suppoted by Pierre Bigorgne (piano), Hervé Denis (trompet), Vincent Duchemin (drums) and inventive de Pascal Kober (bass).
« All So’ » express the assembly of individual characters offering their talents to the singer.

De Duke Ellington aux Beatles en passant par le Rythm & Blues, All So’ revisite les grands standards, introduisant des arrangements novateurs dans un répertoire sans frontières. Aux confins du jazz, du cabaret et de la soul, la partition combine le groove et la ballade, l’intimisme et les débordements généreux, dans la perspective de partager avec son public des émotions musicales intenses.
Influencée par Ella Fiztgerald et Liza Minelli, Sophie Villamayor, la chanteuse, s’est construite un univers original et s’impose naturellement sur scène par une présence hors du commun.
Sa voix suave et bluesy, sensuelle et engagée, est soutenue par les claviers aériens de Pierre Bigorgne, la trompette subtile d’Hervé Denis, la batterie perspicace de Vincent Duchemin et la basse inventive de Pascal Kober.
L’appellation « All So’ » résume ainsi la philosophie du groupe : la synthèse d’expressions individuelles au service d’une chanteuse qui se débarrasse joyeusement des faux- semblants.
En 2007, le répertoire d’All So’ s’enrichit de compositions originales
(auteur Sophie Villamayor - compositeurs Pierre Bigorgne)
et de séquences dédiées à la thématique jazz et cinéma.

Au fil de ses rencontres,
Geoffrey Secco a su créer un univers métissé, entre jazz, soul,
hip hop, rock et électro. "Jam with
the electro", son premier album, témoigne de ses diverses
influences, croisement entre les genres et les styles, offrant au
public une palette de sonorités nouvelles et innovantes.
Accompagné de Armel Dupas (piano), Ronan Courty
(contrebasse), Gaëtan Allard (batterie) et Lorenz Rainer
(trompette), il nous propose un univers de métissage et
d’improvisation.

Le management d’artistes ;Journée destinée autant aux artistes (managés ou en recherche de manager) qu’aux managers eux-mêmes et à toute personne évoluant dans la filière musicale qui souhaite comprendre l'articulation artiste / manager. Qu’est-ce qu’un manager ? Comprendre son rôle et ses champs d’intervention. La rencontre entre l’artiste et son manager. Comment préparer l’artiste à être managé. Les rapports entre l’artiste et son manager. Comment développer une carrière. Comment gérer et développer les différentes activités de l’artiste et son image. Stratégies, planification et organisation. Les relations avec les autres partenaires de la filière. Le contrat de management (durée, obligations des deux parties. rémunération…). Au cours de cette journée, seront proposés des tableaux de bord pratiques destinés à faciliter l’organisation du manager et à suivre au mieux les activités de l’artiste.

Sophie, I hope that you and your family are in great health and spirits. I'm feeling good however, it's getting colder here in Michigan and I'm hoping to not only avoid getting sick but also that H1N1. I've never been a person to get the flu shots before winter and I've always fared well however, this thing has me wondering maybe I should change up my process. Outside of that, writing plenty of new material and the release of the new CD has been so delayed that even the songs originally scheduled to be on it has changed as newer material has emerged and sound better. I hope I can get this done before the ole dirt nap ! Being back in Michigan sucks as there are no jobs, music opportunities are far less prevalant than in Nashville and the weather sucks, still it's good to be alive and near my children.
