Who I'd like to meet: Psalm 17:15: "As for me, I shall behold Thy face in righteousness; I will be satisfied with Thy likeness when I awake." (NASB)
Open Letter: The Day of the Lord!
This ministry God has called me to do is directed toward both the professing Christian and nonbeliever alike: To warn as many as I can before the great and terrible Day of the Lord.
This has become a very, very, heavy burden upon my heart as I look at the fruit which is produced by the “Church” at-large. Its fruit is identical to this world! The “Church” at-large is actually reflecting the world in its overall behavior! Using statistics, there is NO appreciable difference.
Where is the light? Where is the witness? Where is the Gospel?
I humbly come before you with this request: I would deeply appreciate it if you can help in any way to encourage people to visit this ministry’s website, and/or please consider giving a donation to this 501(c)3 nonprofit ministry. Either would be a great help in my effort to reach the lost both within and without the “Church” at-large.
Thank you and God bless you for your prayerful consideration. Minister Raymond D. Sopp Website: www.SoppMinistries.org
To the Jews who had believed him, Yahushua said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
They answered him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?"
Yahushua replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Have you ever been gripped by worry? Worried about your bills, relationship, children, family issues, education, etc....... Worry is a useless, unproductive emotion, Worrying doesn't resolve anything nor make your situations go away. Venting to a friend or spouse doesn't take care of things either. God is your solution and the sooner you realize that and accept it the better things will get. Yes God is aware if your circumstance, but He wants you to come to Him. For the scripture says (Philippians 4:6) "Don't worry about anything instead pray for everything. tell god what you need and thank Him for all that he has done"
(Matthew 11:28) come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest"
So whenever you feel burdened just say: "Lord, here is my problem. I am not going to worry, instead I am going to trust you. I am even going to thank you in advance for what you will do because you know what you are doing. Amen"
"For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 So much to look forward to in our flight in the sky to go home to the beautiful place he has prepared for those who love him. Blessings to your evening, night and day. Love and light in Christ, Robin
All who receive the gospel message into the heart will long to proclaim it. The heaven-born love of Christ must find expression. Those who have put on Christ will relate their experience, tracing step by step the leadings of the Holy Spirit--their hungering and thirsting for the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ whom He has sent, the results of their searching of the Scriptures, their prayers, their soul agony, and the words of Christ to them, "Thy sins be forgiven thee." It is unnatural for any to keep these things secret, and those who are filled with the love of Christ will not do so. In proportion as the Lord has made them the depositaries of sacred truth will be their desire that others shall receive the same blessing. And as they make known the rich treasures of God's grace, more and still more of the grace of Christ will be imparted to them. They will have the heart of a little child in its simplicity and unreserved obedience. Their souls will pant after holiness, and more and more of the treasures of truth and grace will be revealed to them to be given to the world.
Being a Christian is not always easy. Jesus said that those who follow Him would experience persecution. But this is not meant to be discouraging, for there is a promise of victory in the face of such persecution.
Just as it is written,
"For Thy sake we are being put to death all day long;
We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:36-37).
This is a wondrous picture. It is the picture of a slaughterhouse. And the focus is upon a group of sheep who are being led to slaughter. They are not bahhing or bleating. They are singing. Their song is a song of victory. They proclaim, "We overwhelmingly conquer!"
Christians, when they have lived up to the highest ideals of their faith, have defended the weak and vulnerable and worked tirelessly to protect and strengthen vital institutions of civil society, beginning with the family.
We are Orthodox, Catholic, and evangelical Christians who have united at this hour to reaffirm fundamental truths about justice and the common good, and to call upon our fellow citizens, believers and non-believers alike, to join us in defending them. These truths are:
the sanctity of human life
the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife
the rights of conscience and religious liberty.
Inasmuch as these truths are foundational to human dignity and the well-being of society, they are inviolable and non-negotiable. Because they are increasingly under assault from powerful forces in our culture, we are compelled today to speak out forcefully in their defense, and to commit ourselves to honoring them fully no matter what pressures are brought upon us and our institutions to abandon or compromise them. We make this commitment not as partisans of any political group but as followers of Jesus Christ, the crucified and risen Lord, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. http://manhattendeclaration.org
To be considered an extremist can be either a compliment or a censure, depending upon one's general tenor of life and the issue involved. Some matters are of such nature that they must be held inviolately, though one may be slurred as an extremist, while other issues of lesser importance can be compromised without violating conscience.
The Apostle Paul was accused of being mad, an insane radical. But there is a difference between a person with uncompromising convictions and a fanatic with self-centered stubbornness. We are commanded, "Stand fast in the faith," and to some people, this makes us extremist. Thanks for the compliment.
...O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. Daniel 10:19
Heavenly Father, be with us as we set out on our day today and remind us that there are just something we had to take a stand on and sometimes that can be a lonesome road, but we have to be set apart. But help us keep in mind that You said You would never leave nor forsake us. Thank-You for being there Father. In Jesus' name. Amen
"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good." Titus 2:11-14 Wow, looking for these verses is a blessing in itself. I find wonderful verses. I hope this finds you all happy and well and for those of you in need, I am praying for you! Love and Light in Christ, Robin
Thank You for your blessings.
"I wish above ALL that you prosper and be in good health even as your soul does prosper".
Have a wonder week.

Patience is a virtue which I have little of, but when I feel it slipping I just call on God. I'm trying hard to master it, I really need it now. The devil's got me cornered. My life is full of thunder clouds. He's throwing every thing at me trying to pull me down. He's not sure my faith is strong enough for God to bring me out. I've got news for him, I never will give up. My faith is stronger than he thinks and God is with me now. God knows I'm not perfect but He also knows my heart. He knows I'm really trying and we will never part. He's promised to be with me and He'll never let me down. I haven't earned His help, it's only through His grace. He has a plan for me which the devil can not change. He'll see me through to victory, and take me home some day. He'll do the same for you, just believe and trust Him too. by Reatha Crow GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US NO MATTER WHAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH! SATAN IS GOING TO TRY AND THROW SO MANY THINGS AT US, BUT WE HAVE TO STAY STRONG IN OUR FAITH. NEVER, EVER GIVE UP!! STAY STRONG IN THE LORD!!! HAVE A BLESS WEEK, AND KEEP LOOKING UP!!!! "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live: yet not I , but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20....Goodnight and may God give you strength, health and the peace that passes all understanding! Love and Light in Christ, Robin
"Show me your ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day."......"In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness." Psalm 25: 4 & 31: 1... It said this picture came from England. So pretty! I hope all is going well and God be with you and bless you abundantly! Love in Christ, Robin
