School of Rock drums provides an in depth study of drumset performance. We focus on building a group of core fundamentals based on the individual student, and their goals for what level performance they wish to achieve.
Music
While Rock music is in our name, we at School of Rock drums like to really focus on skill sets and how to apply them to any style of music. You tend to find that drummers will use the same if not similar techniques in all styles, be it reggae, rock, funk, metal, or jazz. We like to emphasize how the similarities in playing these styles on the drumset have evolved the instrument itself.
