Gloomy winter of 2004, historic town of Rochester, Southeast England, Soror Mystica came into existence.
Guitarists Neil Wood and Wasi joined their brains together to create what was to become the beginning of a neverending ride into oblivion.
With influences ranging from Goth/Doom metal to ancient middle eastern/asian music, the duo set out to explore the infinite limits of creativity. Spring 2005 brought Erika Angius together with the band, with a voice angelic yet powerful and a wide range of influences. Richard Hanson, a creative musician and brilliant producer with vast experience lent a hand in recording, production as well as playing bass,drums and keyboards on several demo tracks.
Since that moment in time, the band has come a long way leaving behind trails of their dark creativity in the form of several demo songs..Their attitude to music leads them to a new approach to the darkest depth of the human soul,a landscape in which life is nothing else then a story born from a melancholic yet still aggressive agony.
