Cold wave, dark wave, gloom wave, new wave, minimal wave, guitar wave, synth wave (any form of "wave" music that is melancholy), minimal electro / minimal synth, gothic (traditional 80s and/or silly cheesy 90s style as long as it is not metal), neofolk, ebm/electro (heh please no imperative reaction or vnv nation style bands here but more of the style of Klinik, Incubated Sounds, PP?, Simbolo, Serpents, Dilemma, X Marks The Pedwalk, etc.), maybe some occassional dark ambient / noise / experimental / power electronics / oldschool industrial sounds etc. too (but not so much these days...)
