Im a singer/songwriter 'Shauna Motalue', who began making videos for my own songs, but I have developed into making them for other musicians.
Movies
Fasinated by music films, not musicals (except Greese). Classics like Quadrophenia. Particular interest in Musicians who make thier own films! Also how rock/pop music is used in film narrative.
Television
I liked the old school! 'Rent a ghost', The Young Ones, Fawlty Towers and the like...... Excellent comic script sit coms and also Character based drama detective series; Morse, Cracker, Columbo, Miss Marple, Monk & Quincy. Most soaps get a look in but Eastenders is a firm favourite with me. Concerns about falling budgets and lack of investment in good quality new programmes in this digital age of diversions!!!!
Who I'd like to meet: Other filmmakers to work with and talented musicians/songwriters who would like to have a creative music video or live performance up on their myspace page. If you think thats you, get in touch.
