From its early stages when the streets and the parks hosted break battles, to the Graf artists' use of the city as their canvases, to the MC’s and beat boxers who used the mouth as an instrument, to the sound selectors who controlled the crowds at local house and block parties-all four elements came from the hearts and souls of inner city blacks and Latinos who had nothing and made "SOMETHING" out of it. That "SOMETHING" now spans the entire world, transcending all ethnic groups, languages, and colors.
Hip Hop is a representation of real life. It's pretty safe to say that all human beings deal with happy and sad times in our lifetimes. SoSoon strives to show both sides in his music.
