A few of our influences would be the Foo Fighters, Staind, Green Day, & Nirvana, Blink 182, and even some slower stuff like Dashboard Confessional, and Kid Rocks lighter side.
Sounds Like
We do more modern covers then alot of bands out there from the 90's to present. As far as our originals go, they have developed into our own personalized sound. We would have to say its like Kid Rock, Staind, The Misfits & New Found Glory all went on tour. But that is just our opinion. Who the hell knows. How about you listen and you tell us!!!
The band started in 2003 with Jon, Scottie and Puliti playing in scott's basement where we "jammed" to then practicing in a few places in the york, pa area to now having a studio in Jon's basement in Camp Hill, PA. We started with just covers and have turned into an original/cover band where the shows have become an energetic, fun, party that always leaves you wanting more!!!
S.O.S. has that hook in their songs that will draw you in to soak in the meaning and truths behind each and every song. Just listen to the lyrics and you can hear the love, the hurt, and the joy that each band member has gone through in life.
We would have to say that our influences are a wide range. Green Day, Blink 182, Sum 41, New Found Glory and Good Charlotte.
We have shared the stage with some great bands: Jive recording artists "Dirty Blonde", Emily's Toybox, Brian Kirk and The Jirks, The Sex Pistols Experience, Echoburn, The Martini Bros., Negative Space and Fusion, just to name a few.

Jan 5, 2007 With the support on fans whom traveled as far as from Wellsboro, Pa. S.O.S. beat out 2 other local bands in phase 1 of the Battle of the Bands at the Tourist Inn, Located in Hellam, Pa. S.O.S. will now prepare for phase 2 which will be held on Jan 26th
Dec 12, 2006 we were interviewed by O.S.H. Radio and our debut CD entitled "S.O.S." is the featured CD of the week. Jan 1, 2007 After having Leadfoot open S.O.S. took the stage to ring in the New Year at Tubby's Night Club for the Rockin New Years Eve Bash. S.O.S. received a surprize visit by Crazy John of O.S.H.
