The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised
The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.
Not read a good book for a while. Do like fictional books, my cousin is psychic and i think her first two books were the last ones i read. Seem to read a lot of Rock stuff these days. Men are From Mars and Women are From Venus is a good book with a lot of insight into relationships and what makes us tick.Currently reading my Band Management Bible. Mostly read books about Rock Stars and Rock Magazines. Also like to read about ancient Egyptian civilisation.

關於我: My name is Sue Gregory. I have 3 sons and several cats. Always lived in Sheffield. Always loved Rock Music. Spent my teenage years going to the Wap, Sportsman, The Hind (now the Nelson), The Underground, The Yorkshireman, Rebels,The Limit, ROXY Rock Nights, listening to Rock Music, going to gigs and buying records. Love men with long hair (what a turn on!!). Once a Rocker, always a Rocker!! Rock is not just for Christmas, it's for LIFE!!! Stayed on for a year at school, went to college for a year. Worked as a civil servant for 15 years. Was a childminder for over 7 years and now manage a rock band from Sheffield called 'SHRINE OF THE MONKEY'. They met at the DEEP END Jam Session in SHEFFIELD. Got together in February of 2005. Spent most of the year writing and rehearsing. Their first gig was at a bike rally in Sheffield in September 2005. Since then they have played all over Yorkshire and Humberside.
Since then they have gone from strength to strength playing all over at such venues as:- THE GRAPES, THE NELSON, THE BOARDWALK, WEST STREET LIVE, D'n R LIVE, UNDER THE BOARDWALK, THE CORPORATION, THE PLUG, ROCKWELLS, THE ARCHES, THE ROOM and THE VENUE in BARNSLEY, SNAFU in ROTHERHAM, THE LION in CASTLEFORD, THE CHESTERS CLUB and THE GREEN ROOM IN CHESTERFIELD, THE VIC INN at COALVILLE, CERT 18 in YORK, THE WHITE ROOM in HULL, THE SNOOTY FOX in WAKEFIELD, The TAP 'N TUMBLER in NOTTINGHAM. Not to mention the countless bars and various Biker Festivals. They supported BIOMECHANICAL at JOSEPHS WELL in LEEDS. They got 8 out of 10 in METAL HAMMER for their EP and appeared on one of the Fear Candy Unsigned CD's with Terrorizer. More recently they have been asked to play SXSW and WACKEN OPEN AIR FESTIVAL, not to mention THE BOMFEST too!!!!
They did a 4 Track EP in 2006 and are on with some new material all the time. They have just recently finished recording their debut album, and are just waiting for the art work to be completed. They have had great write ups in The Coma, The Sandman, The Telegraph & Star, Classic Rock, Metal Hammer, Metalliville.com, NMRIH Magazine, Bubblegum Slutzine and Metal Gremlin Webzine to name a few. I would like to thank a few people who have really made a difference this last 4 years on the road. First of all i must thank the bands partners/wives for putting up with the guys being so busy, Kev Lee Jr for setting up the My Space site. Paul Richmond who has become a great friend and has believed in the band since day one and set up their first website. Tarana Rob for the CDs. Mick and James from Darnall Music Factory. Paul Carlton, Glenn Milligan, Luke (Lord Zombie) for such great write ups and continued support, the Longriders who gave us our first gig and countless bands that have been amazing. I will just name a few :- Ten Foot Dolls, Warhead, Nyasi Forte, Subliminal Fear, In The Name Of, Silverjet, Crimes of Passion, Rise to Addiction, Allerjen, Seven Years Dead, Biomechanical, Ben Ward from Orange Goblin, Rattlesnake Remedy. Also i would like to thank all the Venues where we have played over the last 4 years so far and for booking us back in. Sorry if i have not mentioned anyone, but you have all been so amazing. Last but certainly not least i want to thank the loyal families, friends and fans especially the Barnsley Crew. Cheers guys we love you all. In the last 4 years i have taken an interest in up and coming bands. I have got to know quite a few event organisers, promoters, venues etc., and have built up a rapport. I help them if they cant get a band for a particular night and they in turn have been very supportive with me in my quest to let naturally talented people be heard. Music is a gift and should therefore not be wasted or ignored. I love helping new Rock bands to get started it gives me a sense of pride to see them doing well. I will always try to get them a few gigs to get them started, but my roots are heavily into Rock n Roll, so that is my first priority.
我想認識: Most like to meet Ozzy and Sharon. Zakk Wylde (spoke to him on my space), Really like Disturbed and Him, so i would like to meet them too, Ben Ward from Orange Goblin as i have spoken to him on the phone about a Doncaster Dome gig, Jared Leto, David Bowie, Richard E Grant, Jack Nicholson, Paul O'Grady he is so funny. Also any stoner rock bands and see what was their big break. I suppose i want to meet most Rock Musicians as i admire them greatly.
Me and Saffron and Kaz (not on My Space) all met Sebastian Bach at the Corporation last year back stage, we had a photo taken with him, he hasn't changed at all since i saw
him play with Skid Row in the early 80's. He is very nice and very tall. Did a gig with Biomechanical back in March 2006, great guys we keep in touch with them. Rise To Addiction are good friends too!!
I have a couple of celebs numbers in my mobile,(in Rock bands of course). Oh and Bob Monkhouse opened Tesco in Hillsborough when i was young, its now Wilkinsons. He shook my hand. More recently i had the pleasure of meeting JOHN PARR doing a chairty gig with us at the Boardwalk in Sheffield, he was so friendly and interested in people and a great listener. Then when he performed we were all blown away....such Talent and a complete Star!!! I am honoured to have met such a wonderful person.
LoL, yes one day not too much more in the future hopefully. Thanks for pointing us in their direction too, they sound really good, so you never know :) Actually by April, I'm sure we'll be a lot more conditioned/fine tuned/expereinced etc etc and we should have a much longer set by then too. The problem with some of our songs (that are not all on myspace) is that they'll be fine on CD but not your average gig. We have been working on a bunch of newer ones though (also not on myspace) that are mostly a bit heavier and they're far more giggable (well, that's the idea anyway). We've planned to re-focus on recording again for a little while now, (and maybe put another one up on myspace soon:) but we will still do some gigs if they come up this side of chrimbo. Coming back to April though, we should be rocking by then (or before), so watch that space.......and you never know, we may finally get out on 'Tour' and up to sheffield. Can't wait :)))))
Anyway you, fingers crossed the run-up to chrimbo is a good'un for ya. Jeez, only how many weeks away. Scarey!!! Another year wooshes on by!
So be good, keep smiling, stay healthy and I'll speak to you soooooooooon.

I thought it's about time I pulled my finger out my butt and stopped being so bloody ignorant!!!! :) How're ya doin these days, fit n well I hope!! We're all good, in fact it's the same ol'sh#t really (but in a good way) ... it's just all work work and more work - day stuff, kid stuff, and band stuff coming out of my ears. I/we really don't stop, and we spend most our lives being worn out. We are officially giggin now which is good, but I'm equally workin my butt off with a bunch of new songs too. Actually, I say equally, but to be honest, I think I'm more focused on that as we need to get our butts into gear and get the CD & Book finished... but theres never enough time in the day/week/month .... I mean bugger me it's almost christmas again.
Ah well, no rest for the wicked, and we are having fun so that's all that counts I guess.
Well, talking of work, I suppose I'd better get back to it..well, spend some time with the gits before they go to bed, then get back to work. So, Super Suuuuueeeee ...... now that you've picked yourself up off the floor cus I stopped by to say hello :-)))))) - do have a good weekend and keep smilingggggg :-)))
