“Bridging the Gap” is not only a highly anticipated album, it is also how the journey began for the duo SOUF-EAST. Souf-East is a duo formed by underground Texas phenom SLIMPOLK and 106 and Park OUTKAST has there been a group/duo that major labels are throwing in their bids and more to try and land this future household name. BUN B was quoted as saying, “SLIMPOLK is the next one to come out of Texas”. Hip Hop Icon Nas, was quoted as saying “Johnny Ka$h is the truth”. Ka$h gained the respect from the hip hop icon when he toured with Nas in 2007 on the "Hip Hop Is Dead Tour"!
Iconic legends have already taken notice; it is just a matter of time before the world will hear why! Souf-East collectively has over 13 mixtapes, close to a million youtube, and myspace hits, and a stage show that will compete with some of today’s elite artist! East Coast started the hip-hop flame the Dirty Souf has the torch now, together they are building a bridge for many more to cross for years to come.
