bare w/ me as i share this, i will try to be brief, scatter brained, abstract and utterly to the point....
the mcee is born when she or he discovers they have a voice that can't be controlled by another. music found me early and in a place where i needed it the most. i would tell you exactly how all that happend, but it's all still a mystery to me - and honestly i need no answers. the only question is the one unspoken.
that question is always being sought in my music. what school books can't teach - i seek, in life, in melody in speech. out growing the models of society that didn't quite fit, leaving behind the ones i just didn't have any use for! and what was left, poured out of me like an ancient chant (Still with me...if so, read on...) so what did i do? i pulled out my pen and began to write lines that killed the
king, burned the church and shot the fake rapper. the band was feelin' it, so
they started buildin' to it, the DJ gave me two beats and told me to call him in two weeks. and that ni%%a kaseem kept tellin' me to get on myspace.com. the rest is here in the now..
