SOUL 4 REAL is a weekender dedicated to the best SOUL music, no matter the recording date. The first issue of the event dates back to the year 2000, and from this date on the weekender summon the SOUL lovers, sometimes coming from abroad.
During two intense nights trough the speakers you can listen to rarities and easily acquirable new recordings, forgotten oldies and future collectibles ... from southern soul, Crossover and funk to disco-boogie, modern soul, rare groove or Jazz Funk. 4 decades of Black music condensed in one weekend that you shouldn't miss ...the date will take place at the "DISCOTECA HOTEL ERCILLA", located in Bilbao's city centre, a very special and lovely club.
We have always appreciated and rated the discovery of new music treasures, that's why the risk and surprise are more than welcome when DJing. Regardless of the rarity or the accessibility of the tunes, the most important thing is the QUALITY. We would like to give a public "Thank you" to all the DJ's involved during the past 15 editions and also for those who have attended the venue We are very grateful for your support.
SOUL 4 REAL es un fin de semana dedicado al mejor soul, sin importar la fecha de grabación. Un evento cuya primera edición se remonta al año 2000 y que, desde entonces, convoca religiosamente a los amantes de este fascinante estilo, venidos en ocasiones desde otros países.
Durante dos intensas noches suenan por los báfles rarezas y novedades fácilmente adquiribles, clásicos olvidados y futuros coleccionables...desde soul sureño, crossover y funk a disco-boogie, modern soul, rare groove o jazz-funk. 40 años de música negra condensados en un fin de semana que no puedes perderte...la cita es en la DISCOTECA DEL HOTEL ERCILLA en pleno centro de Bilbao, convertido para la ocasión en club.
En SOUL 4 REAL siempre hemos apreciado y valorado el descubrir nuevas joyas por lo que, a la hora de pinchar, el riesgo y la sorpresa siempre son bienvenidos. Independientemente de la rareza o accesibilidad de los temas, lo importante siempre ha sido y será la CALIDAD. Agradecer a todos los DJ..s su aportación en las 15 ediciones celebradas hasta la fecha y, de manera muy especial, un fuerte abrazo a todos que en alguna ocasión habeis venido a bailar y disfrutar.
