Who I'd like to meet:
2008 has seen soulBEAUTIFUL take off and make connections with some great artists amongst the independent soul scene. The role of "booking agent" has been an unexpected, but welcome change to what we do.
April saw sB team up with Choklate Music (Seattle, Washington), OnTheVerge (Virginia Beach) and Soul Nation (Paris, France) to complete the last leg of soul sensation Choklate's first solo European tour. The Choklate UK Street team was also launched this year, after the success of her two packed out shows in Europe.
This year has also seen the return of independent soul's king Eric Roberson to the UK. Eric's official UK Street Team, an entity of soulBEAUTIFUL inc., is always heavily involved in the promotion of these shows, as well as concentrating on sales and distribution between visits.
