had a fun jam on friday night and came up with a side project called MUDFOOT...initial outcome consisted of a lot of beer, 3 guitars, bass and vocals. spontaneous fun...pa in the kitchen, windows wide open annoying the neighbours..that's the way we like it
loving ALOTTA PRESHA at the moment..groovy guys and funky tunes..makes me dance
..also digging A FRENCH BUTLER CALLED SMITH from the gold coast..man do these guys make me wanna shake it..check them..
i love original music..i love the creativity and delivery a group of people can conjure up..and a live gig inspires me no end..

About me:
Hey...Welcome to SOULBIRDSISTER.Music is a big part of my life and I've been involved in the industry for a good 15 years.
I'm an ORIGINAL MUSIC LOVER - live original music does it for me - be you local, loco or from a long way away - if its appealing and has its own groove, chances are I'm gonna love it!!
I've been booking local gigs now for a few of years - doing stuff on my own and with ACOUSTIC LOUNGE ILLAWARRA (ALI). ALI book 2 venues at the moment - Rubys Kitchen - Stanwell Park; Mount Kembla Hotel - (check our myspace - www.myspace.com/acousticloungeillawarra)
I'm also into my fourth year of setting up gigs and artistic set ups for local festivals. I like festivals, i like them a lot..
I'm involved in the SNOWY MOUNTAINS OF MUSIC FESTIVAL; THIRROUL SEASIDE & ARTS FESTIVAL; the ILLAWARRA FOLK FESTIVAL & the FESTIVAL OF FLIGHT (07).
I'm one of two women that organise & run SPLENDOUR IN THE PUB - a local school fundraiser for our kids' schools..I've also been helping out with some of the events down at SOL STUDIOS
Tho the favourite gig i love is the gig in my own backyard...beautiful muso's, beautiful friends, annoyed neighbours and a lot of love...yeah, i can throw a backyard shindig...SLINK INTO SPRING...it's a beautiful thing ;)
But that's not all I'm about...bigger plans are in the pipeline...there's love and passion within this soul that's ready to take flight and soar...
The world really is opening up and im digging in, not pigging out...

Check em out, they're pretty groovy...in fact check out all my friends, I know some cool cats.

the Heritage Hotel with Big Erle and a host of circus acts on Saturday
26 September.

are excited to host a unique night that will be a far cry from the
average pub gig. In addition to own brand of gypsy dance music, the
show will feature the bent Afro-Blues of Big Erle and an enchanting
collection of circus performers, including Wendy Regan.
