    DJ POWER (THE SOUL CONTROLLER), Award winning DJ and Producer is a master at pleasing crowds in the clubs and radio. Known around the world for his crazy remixes, DJ style and productions he was presented with a Justo's Mixtape Award in NYC for his Soul Controllers mashup mixtape compilations . His compilations have featured collaborations with artists such as 50 cent, Busta Rhymes, Sean Paul, Vybz Kartel, Wycleff and more wiht mentions in the NY TIMES, SCRATCH magazine, FADER, RIDDIM mag etc. and he has produced remixes played by djs worldwide including his work on Mims platinum "Why I'm Hot" remix with Junior Reid and Baby Cham and his remix to Knaan's World Cup Anthem "Waving Flag", "Bang Bang" feat. Adam Levine from Maroon 5, and "Right There" with Nicole Scherzinger and 50 cent. Power has appeared on numerous tv and radio stations such as BET, MUCHMUSIC, HOT 97NYC, BBC UK, FLOW 93.5fm Canada, JAPAN FM NETWORK, SBS (Australia) and HOTT 107.5FM Bermuda to name a few. Power is famous for his live remixing and mashup blending of Electro, Hip Hop, R&b, Top 40, House, Dancehall/Reggae, Rock, Salsa and Soca and has held residencies and rocked parties at the most famous clubs in the world including NY's "Club Marquee", Mumbai's "Blue Frog", Shanghai's "G plus" and Sydney's "Greenwood" to name a few, as well as djing parties from LA, to Miami, St. Maarten and beyond. He has dj'd parties hosted by P Diddy, Spike Lee, 50 cent, Ny Giants and the the Jayz Blueprint 3 tour afterparties feat. Memphis Bleek as well as tour djing for Reggae superstar Junior Reid. He his currently working on his first studio album with appearances from Machel Montano, Kardinal Offishall, Kalenna (Dirty Money), Vybz Kartel and Junior Reid to name a few. DJ POWER was born to Trinidadian parents and raised in Toronto, Canada before relocating to Brooklyn, NY in 2004. His first radio spot was 89.5fm Toronto's "Masterplan show" followed by Flow 93.5fm's "Trauma Unit". In Ny he recieved a Justo's mixtape award for his Soul Controllers mashup mixtape compilatons and his collaborations and mixtape albums with many artists including Vybz Kartel's famed "Return of the Crime Minister" cd and Junior Reid's "Why I'm Hot" cd.
