   About Soul Elevation Music
In the early 80’s, as Disco was evolving into Underground House music, DJ Quest-One AKA Dana S. Hudson surfaced on the Connecticut dance scene with his unique interpretation of rhythms and harmonious blending of vocals and beats. DJ Quest is held in high esteem by his peers within the music industry for his radio broadcasting finesse and for the role that he played in the development of dance music on domestic college radio. This accomplished DJ is accredited with establishing the dance format on WFCS 107.7 FM, where he rocked the airwaves for two years with his weekly weekend Mixmaster jam sessions broadcasting live throughout the tri-state area. Simultaneously, this skilled DJ slammed the turntables during his 2 year residency, at Elmer’s, the trendy night club located on the Central Connecticut State University campus. Quest-One’s distinctive mixing style of dance music led to numerous DJ guest appearances across the east coast including his monthly gig at the underground hot spot Club Graffiti in Manchester, CT, and a guest spot at the ultra-chic lounge 125 in downtown Philadelphia, PA., During the 2007 Winter Music Conference festivities in South Beach, Florida he worked the wheels of steel at Club Amendment XXI with DJ Peace and Area 51 with Bobby and Steve, the UK dynamic DJ duo.. Quest-One is recognized and respected by the dance community for the contributions that he has made to the evolution of dance music of the South Florida club scene by bringing the NY Garage and Chicago House flavor and style to Orlando. After relocating to Orlando, this accomplished DJ quickly established himself on the Florida club scene with his explosive soulful house dance sets at the hippest venues including the underground café, The Crooked Bayou, the ultra-chic nightclub Red Star Tavern, the gay hot spot Screamers, the fashionable Socca Ultra lounge, the ritzy Peacock Room, the trendy Sky 60 rooftop nightclub and the funky Buddha lounge. His infamous underground dance sets at the Mark lounge located in downtown Orlando led to his monthly Saturday night dance mix showcases on Rollin’s College radio, WPRK 91.5 FM, which solidified Quest-One’s ranking as one of the most popular DJ’s in Orlando. Over the past two decades, DJ Quest-One has spun alongside numerous notable global DJs including; Hippie Torrales, Jason Heinrichs, Craig Alexander, Mike Clark, Master Kev, M-Traxxx, and Ray Coker. Recently, this multi talented DJ, shared the turntables with Chicago legend, Roy Davis Jr., at the infamous Firestone, the hottest dance music venue in Orlando. As CEO and Founder of Orlando based entertainment group, SOUL ELEVATION MUSIC LLC, Quest-One demonstrates his relentless passion for music, his innate gift for interpretation of rhythm and harmony and his dedication to honing his craft, which are the driving forces behind his success within the music industry and is what makes him a musical force to be reckoned with.

Fred G was born and bred in the diversified multi-cultural city of East Orange, New Jersey, where at the ripe age of 13, he hit the turntables. In the late 80’s, he emerged on the dance scene as a mobile DJ, spinning at local Jersey college parties, block parties and community events with his eclectic DJ style of blending African Caribbean, Latin Jazz, Soca, Soul, R&B vocal, beats and rhythms. In the early 90’s, Fred gained recognition as a radio DJ on the New Jersey college circuit broadcasting throughout the New York-Tri state area. For five years, Fred G rocked the airwaves each week with his Friday night deep house jam on WCPR 97.9 FM/Stevens Institute of Technology, his Wednesday Mixmaster madness sets on Rollin’s College radio, WPRK 91.5 FM and his weekly Saturday night Garage House classic parties on WHOV 88.1 FM at Hampton University. The notoriety of his soulful dance sets at these radio stations led to his residency gig at the famed Newark nightclub, Hoops, where from 1998 – 2000, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night he slammed the turntables with his unique interpretation of music until the break of dawn. From 2000- 2005, his distinctive sets could be heard at his monthly guest appearances at Club Q, Virginia’s hottest night spot, as well as, his annual guest gigs at Anadalu in Washington, DC. Upon relocating to Orlando, this outstanding DJ quickly made a smooth transition into the Florida nightlife. His special guest dance sets could be heard at the trendiest venues in Orlando including the chic hot spot, The Red Star Tavern, the super-cool café, Crooked Bayou, the steamy Socca Ultra Lounge and the highly publicized hot spot Screamers. Proud partner of the Orlando based entertainment group, SOUL ELEVATION MUSIC LLC, Fred G organizes and promotes events including their current successful outdoor “Soul Elevation Music Saturday Sessions in the park” house music festivals held in Downey Park located in East Orlando.

Eric L. Lewis AKA Eric Levan started mixing at the age of 14. Influenced at a young age 1st by local DJ's Al Sharif and DJ Punch and Shank then by radio DJs Red Alert and Tony Humphries . Eric began Djing for high school parties with DJ Soo of Club New Productions who traveled to various locations spinning Hip Hop, Club Classics and the latest in Chicago House. After 3 years of mobile work Eric landed the job as a music engineer and back-up DJ for Club America in Newark NJ (90-92). At Club America Eric worked along side of Kerri Chandler, Johnny Dangerous, Larry Paterson and Brian Davis. As Eric worked with Brain Davis and Larry Paterson, (the God Father of the Mecca Club Zanzibar) who were very close friends with Larry Levan, they conditioned Eric and called him DJ Eric Levan of Club America. In the early 90’s, Eric could be heard slamming the turntables at various NJ underground spots including the Down Under, Big Daddy’s and the Roxy, College Club. By the mid 90’s, this versatile DJ, was famous for spinning progressive tribal house and old school sets with his special guest appearances at various NYC venues including, the scandalous Webster Hall, the infamous go-go lounge Mantra, Club NV and the infamous “One Love” parties at club Down Time to name a few. In 2003, Eric rocked the big apple with his explosive dance sets in the heart of the village at the Ja Lounge, for renowned resident DJ/Owner, Jon Ferrari and Subsonic rhythms productions. Upon relocating to Florida, his high-energy guest dance sets could be heard at the hippest underground venues including the ultra posh Blue Martini Lounge in Orlando, the funky Buddha Lounge in Winter Park, Socca Ultra Lounge in Winter park and Orlando’s, Screamers. Proud partner of Orlando based entertainment group, SOUL ELEVATION MUSIC LLC, this ASCAP and BMI member is rapidly gaining recognition for his production work. Credited in 2007 for producing and remixing the soulful up-tempo indie “Don't You Worry PT2” featuring the brown bomb-shell songstress, Vicky Martin and "Someday Remix" by the one and only CeCe Rogers, released on the “Godfather of House” Marshall Jefferson’s USB Records label, which has regular rotation on various underground internet radio, shows including SS Radio and Cyberjamz.com.

Originally from New Montrose, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, DJ Peace, née Thomas Spann relocated with his family to the south side of Chicago at an early age. Thomas grew up in a household filled with his music. His dad, an accomplished studio sessions jazz musician , often had world class musicians at the house for impromptu jam sessions - artists such as Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Lou Rawls just to name a few. In addition to his dads musical influences, his family also owned one of the premier radio stations in Chicago - WVON ("The voice of the Negro") now known as "the Voice of the Nation" with his uncle, the legendary Pervis Spann "the Blues man" at the helm. Pervis Spann was responsible for bringing some of the top soul and jazz acts of the 60's, 70s and 80s to Chi-town such as James Brown, Sly & the Family Stone, Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson and many more. Fast forward to 1981 and a new sound was taking over the streets of Chicago - heralded in by iconic deejay Ron Hardy at the Music box and Frankie Knuckles at the US Studios Warehouse. This sound was what we now understand and love as "house music" - a term coined by Leonard "Remix" Roy -that invaded the clubs and eventually the airwaves with a fury...and Thomas was right at the forefront under the tutelage of 4-time Grammy nominated producer/remixer Steve "Silk" Hurley. Thomas started his DJ career as an unofficial member of Hurley's Hott Waxx Productions using the name Thomas "Spinnin" Spann playing at legendary venues such as Sauer’s, the Candy Store, and eventually playing venues such as the Ascot, the Blackstone hotel and the Bismarck Pavilion with his idols and mentors Frankie Knuckles, Farley "Jackmaster Funk" Keith, Lil Louis and Ron Hardy. In 1985 (while still a senior in high school) Thomas started his first residency at the Marz Bar on Chicago's infamous Rush Street along with DJ Gerard and in summer of 1986, Thomas became the first resident of the legendary club COD on the north side of Chicago. Throughout this time, he continued to be a featured guest DJ at south side clubs like Heroes, the Pleasure Dome, Union Hall as well as west side venues like DaVinci Manor playing alongside Silk, Andre Hatchett, Pharris "Phunkin" Thomas, and Fast Eddie. In 1987, Thomas left the city to join the military which led to travels overseas. While in Germany, Thomas reinvented himself and began a residency at Club Funkadelik in Frankfurt as well as a residency at Club Capri in Friedberg. This led to travels across the UK from Germany to Belgium with stops in Austria, Spain and Paris. In 2003, Thomas relocated to south Florida as DJ Peace and linked up with Andre Soul to become a part of Soul Simple Entertainment. In 2005 become an integral member of Conscious Collective with DJChris, Sela V., Donna Hughes, Chilly and Djinji Brown to bring true warehouse parties to South Florida. In 2006, Peace once again hit the road playing across the globe with stops in Belgium and Dubai. In 2007, Peace joined the Soul Elevation Music Family and the rest, as they say, is musical history that remains to be written. You can catch him Sundays from 2-4 (EST) on www.seriousjazz.org as well as Thursdays on Kaixta - Juicy Radio (Belgium) from 3-7 pm (GMT).

DJ Sammy Rock, aka, Soul Oasis, hails from the Boogie Down Bronx and is highly respected for the integral role that he played in the evolution of dance music within the New York City nightclub scene. Sammy Rock emerged on the club horizon in the early eighties, spinning diverse sets blending, Disco, Salsa, and Freestyle grooves at various Bronx prominent nightclubs including the celebrated Chez Sensual and the Devil’s nest, the infamous Latin Hip Hop hot spot, which was home to resident superstar DJ “Little” Louie Vega at the beginning of his illustrious career. Sammy Rock quickly made his transition in to Manhattan club scene, spinning at various distinguished venues as special guest gigs including Bonds International Casino in the heart of Times Square, Sammy Rock opened up for celebrated DJ John “Jellybean” Benitez, one of the most recognized pioneers of the dance music at his renowned “Ain’t Nuthin But a House Party” extravaganzas in both New York City and South Beach, Florida. During the 2007 Winter Music Conference, Sammy Rock, spun his unique style of blending vocals and harmonies at the “Back To My Roots” party featuring legendary DJ Kenny Carpenter, one of the forefathers of the dance music movement, as well as, the 15 hour dance marathon for the 16th Anniversary party of “The Shelter”, the longest running Underground House NYC party NYC featuring veteran DJ, Timothy Regisford. Sammy Rock has received international acclaim as owner and founder of his award winning Internet radio station Cyberjamz; the cutting edge web network specializes in underground dance music that launched in October 2005.
