We are Soul eXistence In the constructing of Soul eXistence; we've taken aspects that reflect on the experiences of life. Focusing on things in the negative, neutral, and positive reactions to create this sound we take part in... We are all completely different products of our own environments. Therefore we strive to inject those distinct personalities into our songs, often trying but never trivial. The composition process tends to run rather smoothly, but it's the challenge to bring Soul eXistence to the eyes and ears of the world, which drives us even harder.
Soul eXistence began on December 16, 2002. Between '02 and '04, before the final line-up was determined, we went through two previous vocalists. None of which had anything to contribute. We later debuted with five members in Bullhead City, Arizona on January 17th, 2004. We then recorded two E.P.s with original drummer Jeremy B., and vocalist Mark B. We played quite frequently from '04-'07 through Arizona, touching California. In 2007 we started recording a five song E.P. with the intent to start touring and further our relations in the industry.
In spring of 2007, after almost five years, Jeremy B. was let go from Soul eXistence. Being in the process of pre-production, we decided to bring on Jam's little brother, and long time fan, Billy Pippin. ("He came on in... learned all five of the songs, never hearing them before. And that was just it. Perfect." -Jam.) We played our first show with the new '07 line up, on October 6th. Two days later we would meet the departure of Mark B. After our vocalist made his descision to leave, we would be without a singer untill summer of 2008. Photographer and dear friend Pat Bell would soon lay his camera down and grab a microphone, to take his rightfull place as the frontman and vocalist of S.X. With everyone ready to start working on a new release, we crafted twelve of our strongest songs yet. On June 4th, 2009 our lead guitarist, and producer, Matt G., would leave the band. Being in the middle of recording, with just vocals left to finish, this would be the hardest hit we would take.
But we will not stop, nor will we slow down. Soul eXistence is forever and we hope to bring you a better version of our music, one you have yet to hear.
The album we started recording is almost complete, but numerous delays have stoped us, time and again. It is our upmost priority to finish and present the album. For the time being, the band will maintain rehearsing and preparing for upcoming shows. We have put out one track from the release, titled 'Infinite Blue', which features our new line-up. This track shows one of the many distinctive faces of Soul eXistence. Give us some feedback, tell us what you think.....
