Bio:

Die Soul Fire Band kann durchaus zu den Veteranen der deutschen Reggae- und Dancehallszene gezählt werden.
Seit 2001 spielen sie in ganz Europa und haben viele der ganz großen Namen live und im Studio begleitet.

Zum einen blickt man die langjährige und enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kölner Label „Rootdown-Records“ zurück, sowie viele Konzerte und Aufnahmesessions mit Maxim, Nattyflo und Nosliw.
In besonderem Maße aber auch auf die erfolgreiche Zeit mit dem ‚dynamischen Dancehall Duo’ Mono und Nikitaman, mit denen man ausgiebig tourte, am Debut-Album „Das Spiel beginnt“ gearbeitet, und nicht zuletzt unvergessene Festivalshows gerockt hat.

Auch wenn sich in den letzten Jahren viel geändert hat, und auch viele neue Bands aufgetaucht sind, so tritt die Soul Fire Band immer noch als einzigartige Erscheinung hervor:
Durch die stets konstante Besetzung, einen immer weiter wachsendem Katalog an Riddims und Beats, und die Zusammenarbeit mit vielen verschiedenen Künstlern, entsteht eine einzigartige Kombination aus Flexibilität, Variabilität, einem Gespür für die richtige Vibe, sowie einem unverwechselbaren Style und Sound.

Ganz im Stile der großen Jamaikanischen Backing Bands beherrscht die Soul Fire Band wie keine andere unauffällig, aber stets präsent, den hinteren Teil der Bühne und versorgt die Artists mit der Live-Vibe, die sie brauchen, um jede Dancehall und jedes Festival zum brennen zu bringen.
Aktuell stehen einige neue Projekte auf dem Plan - Kooperationen mit Talenten aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum und verstärkte Zusammenarbeit mit etablierten internationalen Künstlern - die 2010 für jede Menge Wirbel Sorgen werden.

The Soul Fire Band clearly ranks among the Veterans in the German Dancehall/Reggae scene.
Since 2001 they have played shows across Europe and collaborated with many of the then upcoming stars on stage and in the recording studio.

There has been the close, long-term cooperation with the Cologne-based label „Rootdown Records“, playing many shows and sessions with „yard-artists“ such as Maxim, Nattyflo and Nosliw.
Special mention needs to be made to the exceptional time shared with the “dynamic dancehall duo” Mono and Nikitaman, with extensive touring, combined creative efforts on the album “Das Spiel beginnt”, and last and definitely not least having rocked festival shows to be remembered for years to come.

In spite of rapid and vast changes among the reggae scene, and founding of many new bands in Germany, the Soul Fire Band remains a singular entity:
By sticking to an identical line-up, drawing from an ever-growing catalogue of riddims and beats, experience of having collaborated with an array of different personalites, this band offers an unrivalled combination of flexibility, variability, a “sixth sense” to catch the appropriate vibe, and a unique style and sound.

Just like the legendary Jamaican backing bands, the Soul Fire Band reigns the back half of the stage with understatement but musical force, always putting the artist first, supplying the live vibe needed to blaze every dancehall and festival show.

2010 holds new projects ranging from cooperation with young German talents as well as stronger emphasis on playing shows with well-established international artists, to keep rocking for good.
