Established in 2002, the event was introduced to bring together Urban Latin and Hip-hop music talent and audiences that represent the existing blend of second and third generation multi-cultural Latino communities in the U.S.

Our aim is to help blur the lines of cultural segregation that exists between minority communities by providing high quality entertainment promoting the Urban Latino culture through music, sports, fashion, film, literary and the visual arts.

ABOUT SOULFRITO ARTS FOUNDATION: Mission statement Soulfrito Arts is a non-for-profit cultural organization dedicated to the advancement and promotion of the Urban Latino culture in America today, through music, fashion, film, theatre, literary and visual arts. We facilitate events designed to promote the Urban Latino arts. We aim to motivate, inspire & empower the Urban Latino community and showcase it’s talents. What we do Through our events and activities we provide emerging artists access/visibility to the arts & entertainment industries. Select programs have been created to motivate Urban Latino youth to exercise their artistic abilities and provide them with access to information about careers, leadership, financial management & entrepreneurial skills. We set ourselves out to promote multi-cultural unity and the advancement of our communities.
