My name is Kurt Swanson. I am a Performance Photographer living in Chicago and owner of Soulful Impressions. Since 2001 I have been shooting Chicago's vibrant music scene. Living here allows me to get up close and personal with many great artist. Combine today's digital camera technology and the internet, and great things begin to happen. Any day of the week in Chicago you can find a club with great music and friendly faces. During the summer months check out one of the many neighborhood festivals. Photography is a great way to turn a performers expression into artform.

we have 2 weeks left to get him advanced!!! we can't do this without you. it has been a long and frustrating time- but JR deserves this! If everyone can vote 1-2 times daily (even more would be great) then we can get him there. We have noticed that on sunday nights he is in single digits but monday morning we lose him. We need all the help we can get monday mornings! Weekly voting ends at 10 AM EDT.
