Being a House Music lover since early, and travelling from all over the country to hear the best world dj..s, it was natural that João turned himself a dj.
He started in some small private parties for friends, and later on became resident in one well known bar in his city where we met the famous Portuguese sax player, Selmer “Sax Man” Rodrigues, and together they created a dj/musician project called “Soul & Sax”, where they play together all over the country in the best club..s and lounge..s , also in Spain and in Madeira..s Island, besides the project, Soulful João plays alone, booked by PLAYMORE Management, his style is eclectic but it is evident the great affinity he has with soulful, jazzy, deep, afro House Music.
He has one hour show all Saturday..s on the web radio Motion FM called “Underground Music Nation Show”.
Soulful João is also committed in production, and he is going to be featured soon on one of the major..s radio in Portugal, Antena3, on a daily show dedicated to upcoming Portuguese producers.
He is one of the residents of the Deepersoul.blogspot.com, and he has his one hour show all saturdays (6pm U.K Time 1pm NY Time)on Motion FM (www.motionfm.com)
