The Worst Poetry Reading

We would like to invite you to our open reading / open mic session this coming Wednesday at 10:00 PM.

We are the collection of the mad and insatiable. The furiously alive, they who know how much is hidden underneath the awkward and the painful and the unpleasant and how much value there is in the pure humanity of rage and frustration, of lust and intoxication that most folks just couldn't bring enough forth to call holy.

We want to know personally as many like-minded people in this city as possible and we know you’re out there – perhaps behind layers and layers of society and reality, and it's a constant aim of ours to express, learn and collaborate together.

We are an upfront, outright, outrageous, embezzlement of expression in the calloused suburban valley of San Fernando. The time has come for poetry to become life and life to become poetry. Come, become a part of the walls. Let your words echo in the ears of your community. Come, the time to live is now just as it always has been.

We want to hear your voice, so join us and shout your words for the world to hear.
