Soul Fusion is a four piece funk, soul, rock and blues band from Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Iowa. Their performances blend original songs with classic covers. Soul Fusion’s energetic and entertaining shows are enjoyed by multi-age audiences.
For the past eight years the band has been regularly performing at venues, festivals, and events throughout the Midwest. The group consists of Erik Bjorn (lead vocals and guitar), Tom E. Cooper III (bass guitar and vocals), Jom Van Gelder (drums and vocals), and Daniel James (lead guitar).
Soul Fusion’s original CD, "It’s Cruel", was released October 2006. The album was produced and recorded by Tom Tatman at Catamount Studios in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Hey guys – FGC’s got some great shows coming up in Iowa the next couple weeks. First up is the 80/35 Festival in Des Moines, where we’ll be playing a FREE SHOW on July 5th.
Next up is a 10,000 Lakes Festival pre-party at the Vaudeville Mews on July 11th. Win tickets to the festival and enjoy a headlining set by FGC!
And finally, we swing over to the Iowa City area for the 5th Annual Camp Euforia on July 12th.
