About me:
Shaun L. Jones: songwriter, producer, musician (piano/ organ), CEO-Founder of SOUL INDUSTRY RECORDS, started an event called the Jam Session Musical Expo in 2006.
Soul Industry Records Mission:
Once a year, Soul Industry Records provides some of the most talented musicians a venue to show off their talents and perform in front of an audience as a soloist. Musicians seem to be in the background when they are supporting an artist with their talent. This venue gives the musician the opportunity to be out in the front and showcase their talent and fellowship. Musicians at this venue prepare their own solos which they perform in front of their peers and audience.
Soul Industry Records covers all the production expenses: professional lighting and sound, video documentation, photography, advertising, promotion, etc. Soul Industry Records further assists the musicians by exposing them via the internet. All musician videos are posted on YouTube, MySpace, and Soulindustryrecords.com with the musician’s contact information embedded in the video. Soul Industry Records does not act as the middle-man or management for the musician. Any individual or organization that is interested in the musician will deal directly with the musician by contacting them through the information provided by the musician. The musicians will receive a copy of the entire program. In exchange for these services, Soul Industry Records requires musicians that participate in the Jam Session Musical Expo to sign a release form of their performance.
