    Soul Infusion's Interests
GeneralWe are always interested in experiencing what life has to offer, seeking new ideas and exploring new horizons.

WE LOVE LIFE! Sharing, Caring, Creating, Playing, Music, Travel, Hiking, Camping, Biking, Festivals, Reading, Writing, Learning, Teaching, Drumming, Gardening, Dancing, Playing, Laughing, Singing, Lounging, Relaxing, Intelligent Conversation, Spirituality, Philosophy, the Great Outdoors, the Great Mystery.

Give me a hammock and a good book, a phatty spliff and kind friends to share with, some fruity juice with crusty bread and organic cheese, a warm breeze and some cool tunes, and I am happy as can be. Jah! Blessings!

I also dabble in web design: Macktown Web Design

Check out my old e-max electric scooter blog.

Visit WNC.us for a little info about where we live.

Baseball Antiquities is another fascination of mine.
MusicRoots, World, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Soul, Bluegrass, Jazz-grass, Jazz-tronica, Fusion, Reggae, Dub, Jam, Breakbeats, House, Trip Hop, Progressive Dance, Electronica, Ambient, Trance, Down Tempo, Chill, Classical, wind chimes, drum circles and singing in the shower.

I love multi-dimensional, interactive, up-beat live music filled with heart & soul, rooted in tradition yet exploring the boundaries of time and space. I also love to dance to anything with a good beat, great rhythm, and soulful lyrics. You will find I am equally comfortable dancing at a late night rave with lots of beautiful sweaty people, dancing around a fire or playing drums at a festival, or just casually lounging in a hammock to some great bluegrass and friends to share the experience with.
MoviesMovies are modern-day mythology. We love movies!
TelevisionTelevision sucks our brain dry. We try to avoid it as often as possible.
BooksI LOVE TO READ! Mostly non-fiction, anything related to the Great Mystery; spiritually uplifting texts from all backgrounds and beliefs. I like to challenge myself with new ideas, new thoughts, and better understanding of where we come from, where we are going, and what are we doing here now. "Who am I?", "Why are we here?" and "What is the meaning of life?" -- that type of stuff. I mix it up a bit. At any given time I'm reading three or four books at a time. A few I'd recommend, "Conscious Evolution" by Barbara Marx Hubbard and "The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight" by Thom Hartmann. I would recommend anything by Neale Donald Walsch (author of "Conversations with God"), and anything by Terence McKenna, ("Food of the Gods", "The Archaic Revival", etc.) or John Perkins, ("Confessions of an Economic Hitman", "Psychonavigation", "Shapeshifters", etc.). I like Stephen King novels, too.
HeroesBob Marley. This man shared many blessings with each of us! "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds". - Bob Marley

My greatest hereos are those everyday people who overcome great obstacles and challenging circumstances by thinking positively, living fully and presently in each moment, and encouraging and inspiring others to do the same despite all odds. My everyday heroes are those who inspire me to live my own life more fully, encouraging me to walk in balance with this amazing planet we share. Heroes remind me that my heart is filled with unconditional love and compassion, if I allow myself to share this with others.

Those who SHARE THE LIGHT that exists within each and every one of us! A favorite bumper sticker says so eloquently, "Teach Respect for the Earth and All Living Creatures". I say, "We are all teachers and students together on this journey." Share love, share experience, share your wisdoms. We are all in this together folks. Cosmic mirrors of Self.

About me:
Soul Infusion

Soul Infusion Tea House & Bistro is a community gathering place, healthy bistro and funky tea house located in the Great Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina. We are actually in an old, historic 1930s farm house featuring couches and coffee tables in our cozy living room, a dining room, a game room, an outdoor open-air music garden, and lots of LOVE within our walls. We serve import and micro-brewed beers, organic wines, delicious and healthy home cooked meals, tempting desserts, and a plethora of exotic teas and fair trade coffees from around the world. Nearby is Western Carolina University, the Smoky Mountain National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Cherokee Indian Reservation, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, and lots of outdoor activities all around. We have been blessed to have this opportunity to provide a kind establishment in our small mountain community of Sylva, North Carolina since 2001. (The population of Sylva is just over 2,500 while the population of our entire county is only 33,000. Nearby Western Carolina University has around 9,000 students).

My name is Jason and with my wife and partner of 15 years, Karin, we are the proprietors of this grand experiment in community building and manifesting PEACE. Hope to see you soon!

"I am another yourself. I am a reflection of you. This journey we are on, together, has been very interesting so far. May our paths cross and our hearts meet, again. Namaste. I honor the Divine within you."

Washington Transcripts (What is really being said in DC)

We don’t create homeless veterans; they do it to themselves. My Veterans Administration supports veterans who support themselves, not them that whine about what they been put through and not getting enough education benefits. Look at John McCain and myself, we are both Vietnam era and we didn’t need no education benefits. We both picked ourselves up by the boots. We are both shinning beacons of what these homeless vets can be, beacons standing on a high hill of compassionate conservatism.

Thanks for your blogs, which are inspiring. And I am amazed at the essay by Che Guevara. I had never before read anything by him except one or two of his most famous one-liners, and I had no idea that he was such an articulate and deep thinker.

Peace.

Washington Transcripts (What is really being said in DC)

The President is going to the Olympics this summer no matter what happens in Tibet. He wants to support our trading partner and he feels his not attending would scar many fine young athletes for life. Besides, he feels the monks will get over it, and that the Tibetans are really better off sticking with China. He asked us to get some spin going to explain all this to the American people. It is time to spin up our propaganda propellers one more time people! May the god of spin be with us. On this one, we need good spin! Damn good spin!

Washington Transcripts (What is really being said in DC)

Of course, we have been fighting in Iraq for 5 years and 4,000 troops have died, but it is not like the Vice President and I didn’t tell the American people we would be there for years and spend trillions of dollars to clean up the mess. It was Colin Powell and George Tennant who kept saying the troops would be home in 6 months and things like that. We got to keep history straight if we are to preserve my Presidential legacy. We need John McCain to succeed me.

Of course I’m backing John McCain. That’s cause he will protect my legacy. He sat right here in the White House at lucnh and told me there would be no investigating into how we thought up going into Iraq. There will be no need to look backwords with ol John. He will protect my place in history. He is going to follow me to the White House because he is everything I need, and he is a fighter pilot, just like me. Course, I am a might bit better: I never got me shot down.
