I present the eargasm principle: when setting out to create music, one will invariably create the music which is the most pleasing to that individual's ear. As a fan of several bands whose combinations may seem unfathomable, elements of those bands' sound will work their way into that questing music, less an "imitation of influences" (as shortsighted cynics will be quick to claim) but is instead the embodiment of the search for that holiest of music for that individual, the musical and personal pursuit of the perfect eargasm. "Soul in the Shade" is my eargasm.
Aaron. Sir. You are the shit. Everything about your music is exquisite. Let's put a show together. P.S. Candy's art opening at The Warehouse is on Sat.
