The Soulkombinat, based in the year 1997 in Berlin, is a loose union of Dj's and friends of funky Music. As Eddie Piller expresses it: “There is Soul without Funk, but there is NO Funk without Soul.“
We are placed repeatedly falsely - because of our name - into the specialized Soul scene (“Northern Soul”).
We hear and play and however scene-spreading music, predominantly old, in addition, gladly current club music. The term Soul does not only refer in our case to music, separate on the Groove of our hearts.
Therefore: Soul is a life attitude, a feeling, with that it falls more easily, to have fun with other humans.
A SOULKOMBINAT develops always exactly then.

Das Soulkombinat, gegründet im Jahre 1997 in Berlin, ist ein lockerer Zusammenschluss von Dj's und Freunden funkiger Musik. Wie Eddie Piller es ausdrückt: "There is Soul without Funk, but there is no Funk without Soul."
Wegen unseres Namens werden wir öfters fälschlicherweise in die spezialisierte Soul-Szene ("Northern Soul") gestellt.
Wir hören und spielen aber szeneübergreifend Musik, vorwiegend alte, aber auch gerne aktuelle Klubmusik. Der Begriff Soul bezieht sich in unserem Fall nicht nur auf Musik, sondern auf den Groove unserer Herzen.
Deswegen: Soul ist eine Lebenseinstellung, ein Gefühl, mit dem es leichter fällt, zusammen mit anderen Menschen Spaß zu haben.
Ein SOULKOMBINAT entsteht immer genau dann.

Soulkombinat is celebrating its 10th anniversary, hence they decided to give a very special present to their fans – The first Soulkombinat 7”.
Dutch 3-men Funk-Jazz Band Leslie Nielsen came last year to Berlin to play a gig at the famous “Ganster Groove” Party. The day later, after a short night and with a nice headache they recorded this heavy hammond Funk burner. Lots of nice drum breaks and a bad BAD BAD psyche hammond makes this raw piece of slice irresistable for Funk lovers. BUY or die!!!
Petroleum ist der veraltete Ausdruck für Erdöl, der Stoff, der die Welt rotieren lässt. Dieses schwarze, explosive, schwere Stoffgemisch inspirierte das Rotterdamer Funk-Jazz-Trio Leslie Nielsen zu ihrem aggressiven hard/heavy Funk-Track, der immer als brennender Höhepunkt die Konzerte der begabten holländischen Jungs beschließt. Übrigens: Petroleum entzündet sich erst bei 38 °C.
Produziert und veröffentlicht hat die Single das Berliner SOULKOMBINAT, Funk-Djs, die schon seit Jahren im Namen des guten Sounds im Underground Berlins unterwegs sind. Es ist die erste Veröffentlichung des neuen Labels. Die Single kommt in einer limitierten 500er-Auflage als echte Berliner Underground-Liebhaber Produktion in nur wenige Läden.

Petroleum is the outdated expression for oil, the material, which lets the world rotate. This black, explosive, heavy material mixture inspired the Rotterdamer funk-jazz Trio Leslie Nielsen to its aggressive hard/heavy Funk-Track, which always as burning high point decides the concerts of this talented Dutch young man. By the way: Petroleum catches fire only with 38 °C.
Produced and published the single the SOULKOMBINAT from Berlin, Funk-Djs, which already are for years in the name of the good sound in the Underground of Berlin on their way. It is the first release of the new label. The single comes in a limited 500 piece as genuine Berlin Underground Fan production into only few shops.
