Influences
Listening to Soul Rebel Alliance you can hear many influences. The tight harmonies, catchy melodies and soulful vocals of their favorite soul artists like Sam Cook and Al Green. Use of world rhythms feature the reggae and ska of Bob Marley, as well as Latin percussion. SRA has a full and Funky sound, kind of like Sly and the Family Stone, mixed with Stevie Wonder. The band has many multi-talented fellows, in one set you will hear instruments ranging from the Flute to harmonica, and everything in between. Their live show is the best way to experience SRA. You can feel the energy they create, doing what they love for some nice folks. Their mission is to entertain and enlighten. They are the soldiers of soul.

A short time ago in a beach town not so far away….
Live music has fallen on dark times under the cruel leadership of the evil captain Emo. Meanwhile, on a tiny planet in the FOM system, a group of musical giants known as Frame Of Mind, with a multi-instrumental arsenal, aimed for a strike on captain Emo.
Unbeknownst to them, at the same time, two brothers were studying the ancient art of force vocals known as Off White on their home planet of Soul. The brothers used their force vocal skills to break hearts and open minds. Seeking help from the red eye knights, they battled mediocrity across the galaxy.
Continuing their quests both bands found their way to the beach planet of San Clemente. That day, an alliance was formed to create a brotherhood of sonic indestructibility. Armed with their mighty talent and the urgent message of peace, love and light.
Now they are holding recruiting sessions or, “shows” to fight in the rebellion against the empire of fear, and lame music. Will you join the rebellion?
