soul rodeo is my side recording project. i've alway's wanted to write and record my own music and now i'm learning the ropes of home recording. i love playing country,rock,jazz and most other styles of music. i play guitar,bass,mandolin,most everything else i program. marty van hoosen sings the vocals to cowboy lullaby .she has a wondrfull voice and wrote the lyrics to this song.i will be switching out the other two songs when i correct the bad vocals ( my own) on the ones i was origanly going too share. i also have golgatha wails on my space to feed my need to rock. i currently play sombrance ( we just got signed to psycoAcoustix records),an orginals band that leans to a pink floyd sound,we also have a side project on my space called "the hablo dogs" please stop by rob

Sam Watkins	Oct 20 2008 2:36 AM Hello, how are you doing? I am stopping by to see what is new with you and to wish you a great day! I have great news! I am no longer a solo artist! I have a band! They are a bunch of great guys and I am writing some great songs for us to play. Lori from LA Scott Photography has been taking some awesome pictures of me and is now doing some fantastic work with my new band. We will have some pictures up starting sunday night and as usual she took some great ones! I have devoted an entire section to her on my website: www. samwatkinscountry. com, it should be finished this weekend. She has become our National Sponsor! She is amazing! The next few days there will be a lot of new things on my website and my myspace page, drop by and check things out. It will be interesting! I am being featured on some radio stations and other media on a daily basis! My song "Baby Girl" was heard, by my Attorney, at a charity event when a spokesperson for a missing children organization was doing a speech, he stood up and yelled "That is Baby Girl, Sam Watkins song!" Then he sat down when everyone stared at him, thoroughly embarassed! Things are really coming together! "Has Anybody Seen Me?" my CD, will be in full production before the end of the year (with my new band!). The new songs for the new CD will also be done and in full production no later than March of 2009. As always, our missing children newsletter has spaces for advertising, the cost of distributing the newsletter is covered with the money from the ads in it. If you need some exposure contact me and I will send you the rates. It is a great cause and you will get a tremendous amount of advertising, the ad appears on the website and on the newsletter.
