Im interested in current events in this world in general and various lands differnt cultures. I have a deep love and interest in the mystics who have appeared through every path and religion and land. I love to watch the expressions of true Spirituality and humanity - I love to see the deeper meaning of things.
I (sadly)hesitate to say Im Christian as the more conservative, mainstream or hardline Christians may not agree.*smile* I am a proud liberal thinker/humaniatrian and I follow The Mystic Christian Path; well thats one way of calling it~( - anyway a label isnt what counts is it ?)or you can call it a soul centred christs way :P We follow more in soul transcendence ( being lifted up into who we are in spirit and truth ) than the more well known 'being saved from sins' approach. I subscribe to the belief that All Gods creation is Good. God loves it all and no soul is lost. The church I belong to formally is registered as ecumenical though Christ is the head Spiritually where it counts. If you get that you'll get what im saying *smile.
I have been involved in this church since 1988, doing volunteer work , working in the office and serving on the board. Although I appreciate the outer forms of any church or group for fellowship and support - it is the inner reality that is where it counts to me. . I dont care if a person has a church or group or religion or not. Cos they have their own path being themseleves ~
I belive God that Loves us beyond our wildest dreams.The Love of that annointed one( christ) that doesnt belong to any group or interpretation that lives as our freind our beloved in our soul ..
I a have studied various religions and have always been interested in the subject of faith, beliefs and Truth. Including, Hinduism, Sufism, esoteric teachings etc and many Christian approaches and history and much more. I have done a Masters class in spiritual science and theology.I have also studied a little In the Health field - both medical and natural. Attended numerous classes of every style and done those personal growth/pyshcological ( ala Dr Phil) workshops,and archetypal pyschology etc but life and people are best teachers...I dont think to be spiritual you have to avoid the shadow side of life or yourself...in fact only in acceptance and intergration can you be whole. I am not a dualist...or try not to be LOL
I became a single mother at the age of 20 and due to this stopped working in some areas I was moving into - which was mostly the music industry although I kept a keen interest and still did a few tours with some bands etc..but mostly took to spiritual study and being mummy instead. I was what youd call a hippy type for some years LOL Also have interest in the enviroment and human rights etc. In the past few years i have got back into the music scene but mostly as observer LOL ha .thanks to GUY.
I like reading and I love my family. All crazy! I love humor and some of it rather wicked. When people call me funny that is the greatest compliment I can have! I love making up jokes and naughty rhymes etc! I have travelled a fair bit but not sure if i wanna do more unless I get rich and can go first class! or at least not hippy backpacker class~ travelling around the world with my young son was an amazing expereince and so much richer than the '1 day stopever check each famous building and take your pics' type travel. We lived for signifcant times it Italy and Greece on that journey. Have alos spent severl months In The UK and USA as well as shorter times ( a few weeks) in India Nepal and Israel.
People have called me many many things ~good bad and often 'weird ' lol But its in the eye of the beholder I think. I dont think any person is that easy to peg down and analyse cos unless we've walked in their shoes we dont know. I also tend to run on or so some think! LOL - IM too deep too emotional but kind and generous LOL My best Friends are kindred spirits. To me it doesnt matter age ,religion, culture ,upbringing, race, social status, sexual preference or gender- when your soul clicks with another it is the BEST thing ever!
I like spending time with my son JOSH or friends, or MUM ( usually on phone) whilst sitting on back verandah drinking tea or a pepsi( naughtiness) ....watching the birds and trees and sun and sky...I LOVE the night sky ,the sea, animals and ideas poems philosophies about being free and real. I am deeply greateful for living in this wonderful city of Sydney - I am pretty attached to the good old manly ferries that have given me hundreds of wonderful harbour crossings!

I like young people alot...they bless my life so much....the future of the world. Love my little kitty cat Madam the crazy thing! and Im interested in heaps of things - Way to much to put down here BUT My favorite thing ever is FORGIVENESS - my favorite gift of the Lord. THis helps so much as I keep working through my many human faults and be my true self.
THINGS I DONT LIKE
You may need to know some to know me...and I do try to become more tolerant but so far just human:
I dislike hardline fundemantal views of religion and politics ALOT -and the whole 'your headed for hell' stuff. I dislike THings that limit by interpretation (often a fear and guilt based one )and nullify others expereince. I dislike some approaches that point to the truth of Gods LOve (which is a reality) then binding that to fundemental views , fear based law, ridiculous moral controls , people then are afraid to THINK for FEAR they will also loose the LOVE of GOD !unless they comply with some code or rule or interpretation ? ( ( which of course they wont )
Love supercedes the law...
.When people assume they have the ONLY WAY it becomes 'us versus them' .Then we all become wrong and hate flourishes once again.sigh. To God into a little Box so their ego and world stays 'safe'.SIGH LOL. And dont even start me on any anti-gay -ness! That I REALLY dont like! Gay people are a MAJOR blessing to this world and warriors for true love And tolerance

I dislike conformity lived out of fear but like harmony lived out of loving .I like people that help me think! I think thinking is good evn though some people and or popstars LOL think thinking or discussing things is bad .
I find excessive noise,( bboom boom bass aaargghhhh drugs,(I admit to a intolerance but do NOT belive in the 'war on drugs' )too much booze and polution all yuk YUK YU KKKK . Poverty and war( simply not OK- ps BONO is MY HERO! )
I dislike the abuse of animals or weaker people AND using money and life saving food to influence the poor and hurting to ones own agenda - Love and giving is done unconditionally heart to heart or else its not Love.
I really dont like full on liars.I mean all humans lie a little and I dont mean that - I mean living a life of dishonesty and fakeness- smiles to be approved of - and hate in the heart, or lying gossip again all people gossip in light hearted humor way but mean when it damages and brings bad vibes. Or to follow something to just belong to a herd. I think in our individuality we become truly ONE not in the false safety of the swarm mentality. buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Not into feeling sick!! the city at peak time, being called bad names, being rejected etc - Dont like housework, Dont like meat,and its bad for the greenhouse gases anyway! I am not too keen on girly girls who act and dress like helpless tarts to try to gain some 'love' from certain men. - a big NO to yobbos,drunks, bogans and boofheads lol. yukko computer spam adware and virus !.I am not loving getting old. I love heaps of musical styles from Gospel to alternative, from folk to world from pop to soul, from blues and rock to classical and etc. I like it to be real and touching to heart. I love beautful voices and individuality and the courage to try new things musically. I also love deep lyrical content. I love artists who touch people with this amAzing thing called music and bring forth Spirit in some way.
I have been deeply into music since i was 13 . And have met many artists and attended many concerts through the years. The music scene can have down sides and I admire any artist that stays true to the gifts they are given. Who use their postion to assist others, And who are open and loving with their supporters.
I love artists who can do perform LIVE as well as in the studio. I believe music can change our moods, heal us, revive us, bless us and teach us. MY spiritual beliefs include the Sound as well as the LIght of God so music being His Sound here in the world is of great importance to me .ps; Most of my favorites artists I have on this myspace.
I also appreciate music that Isnt My Own total tatse... and can enjoy many styles this way. I think its really good to play and instrument and sing and compose songs even if your not 'good'by anyones standards. You can do it for yourself and your family or friends as a way to be creative. THis iswhere folk music came from-Around the proverbial campfire. All were involved. These days its just the supergood singers/musos we think should be artists but we are all creative we all have songs and music inside us and its a wonderful thing to explore.

My recent faves are the katherine Tate show, Find My Family, doc martin , sensing murder and the first 48 .
I like reality TV of sorts: Survivor, Amazing RAce etc I love IDOL of course. I support it 100% . Love The osbournes. Love comedies like Little Britain or Kath and Kim , Billy Connelly, Vicar of Dibley and so many more MAd . Or cartoons like simpsons are good for light relief.
I like Dr Phil and Oprah of course.I like a good interview . Im not a big crime or sit com fan although some are ok.
Of those i like its often the old classics from my childhood - jeannie, gilligan, brady bunch and my fave show back then Lost in Space.I still like it :D -
I like documentaries like PILOT guides ~ places, people and culture. And alos docos about important issues. Also i Like medical docos. I love any show about Spirituality, from the better of the christian preachers to The religions of India or peoples personal journeys- I like uplifting , educational , human behavior or humor. I dont much ike violence or tension on TV
Books
BOOKS I read alot. Always have. but Im not too intellectual. I like autobiographies/biographies esp if they have a spiritual flavour or are about places I have an interest in or I care about the person and what they did. As a child I liked enid blyton as many english kids did, I loved the book Heidi too. One lil book Ive loved for 25 years is 'mr god this is anna' by 'fynn' I like real wisdom done in simple story ways. I like 'the sacred journey of a peaceful warrior', and a book called 'Initiation' by elisabeth H. I love some well known books like 'roots' and the australian classic 'the thornbirds.and the princess series by jean sassoon .I also read non fiction I enjoyed 'whats it like being you' by John Roger and Paul Kaye And 'Love without Conditons.reflections of the christ mind ' by Paul ferrini and many etc's sSometimes enjoy just pure trashyness. Sometimes I like deep and sometimes I even read the bible !:D xxxxxx xx

A hero is a funny thing. For me is someone that inspires me spiritually somehow. Also my own family and freinds are heros of sorts and my teachers are great heros. Heros come on varying levels for sure.
