Soulstab is a five-piece rock band from Helsinki, Finland, formed in early 1999 by guitarists Matti Rautala and Pekka Muurinen. They were jamming together and started to write some songs inspired by sounds and attitude of garage rock. Bassist Juho Koikkalainen joined in a couple of months later. Beside of all the fun, numerous sweaty gigs and demo tapes was made during these early years.
After two singers in 2004 Soulstab found what they were really looking for. New singer and an old friend Mikko Lagerkrans joined the band in March 2004, and only couple of months later Soulstab released new promo material, which showed a truly improved Soulstab. "Promo 2004" achieved flattering feedback on different music medias. Janne Ojalehto, the second drummer in the line-up, joined the band in summer 2005, bringing the solid backbone with him. Following promo tape, "Promo 2006" was released in early 2006. In October 2006 Soulstab released a stunning EP "Shake Your Stuff!"
After touring and promoting manicly their band and the EP's, in July 2007 Break a Leg Entertainment signed Soulstab thus becoming their record label. Result: debut album ’Primitive Communication’ out on 30.4.2008. Even better than everything previously done! Short songs and lots of energy. Soulstabs to your heart.

Hello from Finland! It's a name-dropping FRENZY!!! CD has liner notes by Biographer Charles R.
