For 2007 Soul Survivor and Tearfund’s initiative ’Soul Action’ are launching ’Slum Survivor’ and setting the challenge to spend a few days the way a billion spend a lifetime. The idea is that for a short time we’d choose to make the reality of the world’s poor our reality, raising money for change and being changed in the process .

Soul Survivor is an organisation that exists to help you get to grips with your faith. We're a group of Christians who started out running events for young people in the UK back in 1993.

I went to week B and i loved it! the talk that jim yost did was really moving! my back got healed on the second to last night which was so gd cos i cud bend down again, and i was shocked when you read out my testimony about it on the last night, but it was great! I thought id post this here so everyone has the chance to read. Ive been going to SS for around 4 years and have never had trouble with camping arrangements. This year i was placed in pink, where i had been put before and never had a problem with. however after working (my first year in doing so) for a few hours and having to walk uphill to pink my hip started to give way and got increasingly worse through the week, until the night, im told, everyone was praying for healing. (i say this because i left early to get to working on time so i could help set up) but as i was walking back to pink after 2:30 hours of standing and serving i soon realised i had no pain or discomfort whatsoever, and for the last 1-2 days of soul survivor i had no problem and could even race a new friend all the way up to pink from the cafe. my hip is still in perfect condition to this day. Praise Jesus!!
I loved soul survivor it ws my first time an defiantly not the last i was touched by the holy spirit 3 times an have become a stronger christian than i ws before i cant w8t 4 next year to come im jus so excited. Best holiday ever!!!
