Born of rock and roll fire, sensuality, and passion, Soul Tree emerged on the Minnesota music scene in August of '07. They quickly establish themselves as a talented and fun power trio definitely worth seeing. As a band, Soul Tree played 30 shows in the first 6 months of their inception. Their set is like a chameleon, adapting with the crowds and covering a spectrum of rock from The Police to Led Zeppelin to the Bee Gees. As well as being able to entertain any crowd on any night, Soul Tree has written and recorded many original works that get people dancing just as well, if not better than any of the 60 cover songs they play. Soul Tree is also well known for their victory in a 20 band "battle of the bands" at Bogart's in Apple Valley, MN.

I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time a few days ago. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a new tune called Run Bobby Run:
