    PROXIMAMENTE EN RAZTLAN FEST 2010, 30 OCTUBRE
    TRISTON PALMER nacio en 1962 y crecio en el area de Waltham Park de Kingston, y decidio desde una edad temprana que queria ser cantante.
    Comenzó cantando para el acompañamiento del guitarrista de Soul Syndicate Tony Chin. Su primera grabacion fue «Love Is A Message» por el productor Bunny Lee cuando tenia nueve años, el cual fue seguido de «A-Class Girl» para el sello Black Solidarity.
    Tiempo despues atrajo la atencion del productor/deejay Jah Thomas, el cual comenzó una substancial asociacion con Palmer con el track «Entertainment», cuando Palmer tenia al rededor de 14 años.
    Atrajo a mas publico con su presentacion en 1979 en el concierto «General Penitentiary Memorial Concert por Claudie Massop, en el cual tambien Bob Marley realizo una presentacion. Palmer se convirtio en un artista popular dentro de el estilo «singjay» a principios de los años 1980s.
    «Entertainment» fue un hit de Jamaica con el cual disfruto de muchos exitos con «Water Bubbling», «Spliff Tail», «Raving», y «Run Around Woman». Palmer tambien trabajo con Linval Thompson, quien produjo los discos Joker Lover y Settle Down Girl, y despues George Phang, Tony Robinson, Sugar Minott, Bunny Gemini, y Castro Brown. En un punto a principios de los años 1980s, Palmer tuvo nueve canciones dentro del Top 40 de Jamaica.
    A mediados de los años 1980s, Palmer estuvo involucrado en el proyecto de caridad musical es vida, acompañado con Freddie McGregor, Mutabaruka, Gregory Isaacs, Third World, Edi Fitzroy, y Steel Pulse, contribuyendo al sencillo de caridad «Land of Africa».
    Su popularidad continuo a traves de los años 1980s, y en los años 1990s grabó la cancion y albúm «Three Against War» con Dennis Brown y Beenie Man.
