Welcome and Namaste Friends! The instrument you are listening to is the Sarod, an Indian fretless lute-like instrument. I have been extremely fortunate to have learnt from a pioneer in Indian Classical Music, Pandit Buddhadev Das Gupta. Moreover, my parents have been most supportive in helping me embark on this perilious career in music! Some of the other compositions on this page have stemmed from my Masters Degree in Music from Trinity College of Music. I enjoy composing electroacoustic music or arranging music for songs or creating minimalist, ambient, drone music. I guess I was heavily influenced by Talvin Singh with whom I have had the privelege of touring with many times.
